My Unstable Poetry

Society

I don't understand why we are fed words consequently
Why we aren't permitted to express ourselves, feminine or not
Why pop music get's thrown away like Sunday's newspaper
Why is disrespect all we see
But most of all
Why does America seem so unfree, like we are caged?
Why can't people break free, and show their weaknesses?
Why do peers amongst us have the right to make us hit rock bottom in our swirling thoughts?
What I understand most is
Why we are happy all the time
Why we fight for our rights
Why kids cry silently to themselves
