Summer's POV
I woke up naturally from probably the best sleep I've ever had and buried my face in my pillow. It then occurred to me that it wasn't my pillow... in fact it wasn't a pillow at all. It was somebody's chest. I slowly looked upwards to see who it was because I had no recollection of the night before, but once I saw Wesley's peaceful sleeping face it all came back. The awkward thing with Drew, the dirty man in the park and Wesley's comfort. The last part made me smile to myself.
I rolled over and tried to lift Wes' arms from my waist so that I could get up, but his strong arm just wrapped around me tighter and pulled me in close. I started to giggle at his actions. We have been so close since hanging out for those many hours at the concert and from him comforting me last night. Plus, I actually really like this.
"Wes." I said jokingly stern. He just hummed in response. "We have to get up."
He groaned, "I don't want to." He nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. His breath sent chills down my spine, and I think Wes noticed because I could feel him smile against my skin.
"This is going to look really weird if someone walks in you know."
As if on queue someone flung the door open and began yelling, "WESLEY GET-- oh... hello..."
"Hey." I replied sheepishly.
Wesley lifted his head from my neck and looked at the person standing in the doorway. "What do you want Keaton?" he asked slightly irritated.
The boy, now identified as Keaton, shifted awkwardly and said, "Uh, I was telling you that you needed to get up because we are meeting Kenny and Kyle in about half an hour. Remember? We're going skating."
Wes cursed under his breath. "I'll be down in a minute." And with that, Keaton nodded his head, walked out and shut the door behind him.
Wes then put his head back in the crook of my neck, which made me laugh. "Come on, you've gotta get up." I managed to squirm out of his grip and get out of bed. I tried to remember where my clothes were located; I then found them thrown in the corner.
I picked them up and walked to the bathroom to get changed.
Wes' POV
She crawled out of bed, picked up her clothes and went to go get changed. I can believe we only slept together. Like, nothing physical. Drew is gonna give me so much shit about it. I can tell what he is gonna say before he even says it, 'if you don't tap that soon, I will.' I don't think so. I just really hope she doesn't have a thing for Drew. Oh fuck. I'm supposed to be getting ready.
I jump out of bed and start rummaging for something to wear. I grab a white tank top and some blue board shorts. Simple. I start heading towards the door to go down to the den and grab my skateboard when Summer walks back in.
"Hey babe." I give her a wink and she giggles. God that is cute. I just want to kiss her face so bad.
"Hey. Well I was just coming back in to grab my phone and give you back your clothes. I'm gonna head home. Thanks for letting me stay the night." She gives me a shy smile and tries to move around me to get her phone but I stand in front of her and block her path.
"Wesley..." she starts.
"Don't leave. Please. You can come skating with us. Even if you don't know how to skate, I can teach you. Just don't go yet." Wow Wes. That sounded really needy. Bring it down a bit.
"I don't want to cut in on your guy time. Plus I need to spend some time with Lauren, Bailey, and my dad. I promise we can chill some other time though. You're a good friend." She smiled at me as if she didn't get say the worst thing a guy could here from a chick they like. 'You're a good friend.' I've just been friend-zoned. Could my life get any worse?
