"Wait, wait, wait!" I yelled at Bailey and Lauren who had pulled out everything in my closet, and even brought their own things into my room and spread them on the floor and bed, just like they had done with my own.
They both stopped what they were doing and looked at me like stunned squirrels. "I don't even know where we are going, or when we are going actually."
"Well what the hell are you doing? Text him and ask him! We can't help if we don't know." Bailey pretty much pegged my phone straight at me. Luckily I caught it before it hit me in the head.
I shot her a quick playful death glare, which was met by the roll of her eyes, and began to send a quick text to Wes:
'Hey, was just wondering when and where we were going for our date. We kinda didn't really discuss details..."
The reply was almost instant:
'Oh, um. I was thinking out to dinner and then the beach for a stroll? Hopefully tonight if you aren't busy...'
"Shit." I curse slightly under my breath but it is still audible.
"What? What did he say?" Lauren questions me.
"He says he wants to take me out for dinner then a stroll on the beach... TONIGHT!"
"Well, when is he coming to pick you up cause it's about 3:30 now, so we need to know how long we have." Bailey responds.
"Hang on, I'll check."
'Sounds good, what time are you thinking of coming to pick my up? Just so I know how long I have to get ready.'
I get a text back:
'Maybe 8? I'll see you then xx'
"8 o'clock!" I yell, "We only have 4 hours!"
"Well let's get a move on then! You have to look perfect." Lauren began to drag me towards the few piles of clothes they had made on my bed.

"Watch it! Ow! That's hot!" I screamed as Bailey was attempting to create some soft curls in my hair. She kept putting the hot curler way to close to my head for my liking.
"Oh shut up! Don't you trust me? I'm not going to burn you!" Bailey yelled back at me.
Curling my hair was the last thing on the list that we had to do in order to deem myself 'date ready'. I already have on my dark blue, almost black dress that stops a little past the middle of my thigh, has no straps and has a heart neckline. I also have on my black high heels, gold chain necklace, and a series of black and silver bracelets.
"There. Finished." Bailey had a triumphant smile on her face and she turned off the curling iron and placed it on the bathroom bench. We walked out of my en suite and into my bedroom.
Lauren gave me a gasp which immediately made my nerves rage. Am I really that hideous? Is my dress too short? Does my hair look that bad? My thoughts were interrupted by Lauren's encouraging words.
"Summer. You look stunning. No, stunning doesn't even come close. I am lost for words."
I let out a breath that I didn't know I was holding and gave her a thankful smile.
"Here. While you were having your hair done I put everything you'll need into your clutch for you." Lauren hands me a small black purse with gold chains wrapped around it. I take is graciously and give her a small 'thank you'.
"It's got your phone, your house keys which are attached to your car keys if you need to come back for your car or something, you have lip gloss, lipstick, mints, money, not that you should need any because if he doesn't pay he isn't worth it," I gave her a look as if to say, 'really?'. She gives me a shrug and continues, "I also put in a couple condoms, y'know just in case." She shoots me a wink and my jaw drops so low to the ground you could mop the floor with it, and my eyes go as wide as saucers.
