Mitch?

Kirstie pov
The baby was due less in a week. I was in hospital. Jiin took care of me. But still I didn't have a baby name.

K: I am really fine by myself Jiin.
J: Yeah totally. A 10 month pregnant girl by herself. It makes total sense right?

She rolled her eyes and kept her eyes on her book.

J: Aren't you gonna call your mom?

I closed my eyes. I haven't really told her that Mitch abandoned me and that I was carrying his baby. No my baby. I cringed at the thought. My mom would literally be so broken to see her daughter like this. I couldn't.

K: No.
J: But-
K: No is a no Jiin.
J: Kay.

She just dropped her head. I knew it was bugging her. But I couldn't help her this time. Then Scott came in with a big smile.

K: What's up with the smile?
S: Guess what?
K: What?
S: I just finished the nursery.

His eyes glistened. I couldn't help but to smile too.

K: Thank you so much Scott!!
S: Anything for my bf

I just chuckled and gave him a side hug. My belly was huge. I couldn't even move well. Soon the doctor came in to check on me.

A: Hello I am Addison Shepard. You can just call me Addison and I will be your doctor for your delivery.
K: Awesome
A: So just a question. Does anyof your family has genetic disease that I should be concerned of?
K: No. Not that I can think of.
A: All right! Then if you need any help Dr. Stevens will help you.

She politely smiled and walked out.

J: So... What's Hazel's name?
K: I dunno I haven't chosen it yet.
J: Scott and I came up with one.
K: What is it?
S: It's Sophie!!!!!
K: Sophie?
S: Yep! It's cute!!!!
K: I will think about it.

I leaned against my headboard. Then I felt a sharp pain. My water broke.

K: Jiin my water just broke. Could you just get me a nurse or somethin'?

I didn't know why but my voice was deathly calm. Shouldn't I be panicking...? Soon Jiin brought who seemed like Dr. Stevens. She quickly pushed the bed to the delivery room. Inside Addison was already there.

A: Alright Ma'am. Are you ready?

Everyone was out except for Jiin. She held my hand.

K: Yep.
A: Okay. Push!

The pain was unbelievable. We did that for about 5 times. By then I was exhausted.

A: One last push!

I pushed and I heard faint rustles. I wanted to know what was going in but I lost my conscious.

Jiin pov
It was painful to see Kirst like that. With Dr. Shepard's words she pushed and I could see a slimy thingy coming out. As soon as Hazel was out Kirstie fainted. But I saw the expressions on Doctor's face. They were rushing Hazel to a surgery room.

J: What's happening?
DS: Hazel is not breathing. So Dr. Shepard will have a look at her. I will look afer Mrs. Grassi.

I held on to Kirstie's bed for support. I felt like fainting too. Scott was outside of the room .

S: Babe what's going on?
J: Hazel is not breathing.

I saw his shocked expressions. I just hugged him. I cried.

J: What if Hazel....
S: Shh.... don't worry. Hazel is strong like her mother. Everything will be alright.

I heard the burst of the door and there was Kirstie. She looked terrible. I saw the nurses trying to put her to bed again.

K: Where is my baby? I need to see her!!!

I quickly went by her side. I soothed her and Scott did so too. As Kirstie relaxed a bit Dr. Shepard came in.

K: How is Hazel?
A: She is doing fine. Something was clogging her raspitory system so we removed them. If you want to see her you may come.

Scott and I helped her. Hazel was in a seperate room. I let Kirstie have her moment.

Kirstie pov
I stood at the door wondering if I should go in or not. The door opened and Addison held the baby. I slowly walked to her. Addison smiled widly and handed me the baby. Hazel was.... beautiful. She had the lips and nose from Mitch. Her eyes were big. Her eyes were beautiful green like mine. She stirred a little. She smiled widly. It was just adorable.

Soon Jiin and Scott came in too.

J: She is a beauty.
S: She is soo adorable.

They each took turn to get hold of Hazel.

K: She reminds me of Mitch.
J: Kirst..
K: No she is my baby. Not his. I am just saying.
S: Alright. So.... what's her name?
K: Her name is Paloma Sophie Grassi or Maldonado.
J: Paloma?
K: Yes. It means beautiful doves.
S: It is truly beautiful.
J: Indeed.

We carefully put Paloma in bed and walked out.

Outside there was Dr. Stevens waiting for me.

DS: How are you feeling Ms. Maldonado?
K: I feel okay.
DS: Alright. At this rate you will be discharged in a week.
K: Awesome. Thanks.

She told me that Paloma am be seen anytime I wanted. Then she left me in he room with Jiin and Scott.

J: Kirst I am going to go get your stuff from our home. Is that okay?
K: I am fine. Go ahead.

They both left soon and I was alone. It has been a while since I was alone. Silent. Everything was silent. It gave me a little time to think. But I was interrupted by the knock on the door.

K: Come in.

The person came in. I didn't realize who he was until he we as close enough.

K: Mitch....?
M: Long time no see Kirst.
