Normal Life

Mitch pov
I was shocked. So I quickly stood up and followed her. When I stepped outside I saw Kirstie. She was leaning on the wall.

K: Don't
M: Kirst...
K: Don't
M: Kirstie....
K: Don't make me laugh.
M: What?!

She cackled up. She came out with teary eyes from laughing silently.

M: Wh....
K: You are such a dumb idiot.
M: I.. I don't.. what...?
K: You thought I would flirt with someone when I am with you?
M: B..but..what...?
K: Let's go in. I am hungry.

I was dumb strucked. I was standing there with my mouth gaping. 

K: You look like a dead fish when you do that

She smirked and pulled me back to the restaurant.

Kirst pov
So Mitch and I began with a small talk... which waa about Paloma.

K: Paloma's baby name was Hazel
M: Why??
K: Cuz I was having hazelnut chocolate.
M: Huh

Mitch laughed and I soon laughed too. His laugh was contagious.

K: so.. tell me how you have been
M: Well... you know... gang stuff..

My eyebrows furrowed. Mitch was a kijd hearted man who never knew how to hurt others.

M: I tried my best not to hurt anyone you know
K:huh?
M: Your eyebrow was furrowed which meant you were worrying about something.

I felt myself blushing a little.

M: I missed you truely
K: Well you saw me everyday. But I didn't

He chuckled softly. His dimple showed. But a sad look appeared on his face.

M: I have to tell you something

A look of regret washed over his face. I was worried

M: I want you to come live with me at the house.
K: the house?
M: Yes. The place where...
K: the gang works

I whispered softly and Mitch searched my face for any emotions but I kept my face blank.

K: You told me you got rid of the gang.
M: Well I did but the enemies didn't
K: So ..?
M: They will try to hurt you and Paloma
K: I can't believe this

His face dropped. I felt my tears springing up

K: I was going to have abortion cuz I knew I couldn't give her the normal life.
M: Kirst...
K: But I didn't and I promised myself I will do anything to make her live a perfectly normal life.
M: It's not li-
K: She has to live in a house full of gangsters and be threatened for a life time.

His eyes trembled a little.

K: I don't think we call it the normal life do we?
M: Kirst please...
K: I will move in.
M: Real-
K: But you will never speak to me again. Also I hope the house is big enough for me to never see you again.
M: Kirst that's unb-
K: Pick me up at 11 tomorrow

I stood up and walked away. My eyes were flooding wuth tears. I just ran as fast as I can and caught a taxi.

I arrived at the doorway. I swiftly entered the code and went in. I walked straight ahead to
Paloma's room. There were the ' baby sitters' standing infront of her door.

K: Get the hell out.

They glanced at me. Then they changed some glances and walked out. I got in Paloma's room and saw she was asleep. I pulled a chair near by and sat down next to her.

K: Hi baby mommy's back

She squirmes a little and clutched my hand

K: Remember when mommy said she will protect you?
