It has been a week since Mitch announced that Jo was no longer my body guard. I hven't talked to Mitch since the bj happening. Whenever I tried I couldn't help but to think about the bj. Also Jo has been ignoring me. I wondered why. I decided to aske Steve.

K: Steve
S: Hmm?
K: I need you to tell me what I did wrong.
S: What?
K: Tell me why Jo is ignoring me.
S: I can't.
K: Please?

I looked at him with puppy eyes.

K: Or I will not change my bandage every day. Or I could just rip them off

I smirked. He hated it of course.

S: Fine.
K: What is it?
S: It was Holly's room that you were hiding.
K: Who is Holly?
S: Jo's dead wife.

He told me about Jo and his wife. I was shocked when he told me about their child, Katie.

K: Oh my god
S: I think that's why
K: I am such a terrible person.
S: You didn't do it. Don't freak out.

I couldn't believe myself. I was terrible. I can't even imagine how hurt he could be.

K: I need to apologize

I whispered quietly.

S:what?
K: I need to apologize to him.

He looked at me weirdly

K: Where is he?
S: I don't know... his room or the gym?

I quickly ran out. Then I realized that I had no idea where his room or the gym was. I grabbed one maid and asked where they were. Thetly were at the Noth wing of the mansion. It was damn far.

I ran. I ran fast and soon arrived at his room. This mansion should have a bike or something to move around.

I knocked the door. The maid said the gym was connected so he should be here.

J: Yes?
K: Umm.. it's Kirst

I panicked. To be honest I didn't really think what I should say to him. While I was panicking the door creaked open and Jo was there wearing a crisp suit.

K: I... I am so sorry. I didn't mean to go into your room. I had no idea. I had no intention to hurt you. I would NEVER hurt you. I feel so sorry about your loss and I truly do....

I rambled. I felt my face heat up. I looked up and he was watching me with amusement.

J: So...?
K: I hope you would forgive me and hang out with me like before..? It's okay if you don't want to work for me it's fine. But just... if you can...forgive me I would really love to hang out and I know it's hard to forgive people and-
J: I am not mad at you.
K: Wait what?

I was about to ramble again but his answer stopped me.

J: I am not mad at you
K: Wh-
J: I am not mad at you and I will never be mad at you at first place.
K: Then why did you ignore me?

He looked at me. His eyes were full of emotions I can't tell.

J: I had my reasons.

I looked at him oddly. He stepped closely and when he was so close that I could feel his breathing someone called him.

M: Jo!

It was Mitch. I didn't really want to see him right now. So I kept my head down. Mitch came to me and pulled me by my wrist. He pulled me and placed me to his backside away from Jo.

M: Watch it.

I didnt understand what was happening. They both glared at each other. Jo sighed.

J: I will talk to you later Kirst.
K: Okay..

He went back into his room and I felt Mitch's grip on my hand loosening. I pulled my hand out.

M: You and I need to have a talk.
K: Not really.

As I was turnjng away he grabbed my arm where my stitches were.

K: Ow!

I yelped in pain. I felt tears forming on my eyes. I didn't know if it was pain caused by the stitches or feeling betrayed.

M: Oh my god. I am so sorry. I didn't mean to.

I just huffed and walked away. This time Mitch didn't stop me.

I came back to my room and realized Steve left and Paloma was asleep. I don't know why but I felt a little distant with Paloma. I felt sorry for her.

I was about to go take a shower when I heard a knock..

K: Come in

Jo came in with an awkward smile.

J: Umm hi
K: Hi

I couldn't help but to laugh at his awkwardness.

J: About earlier I am sorry. I don't know what has gotten into me and..
K: It's fine

I smiled brighrly and he smiled back.

J: Thanks
K: So we are back to hanging out?
J: Hell yeah

I laughed and he laughed too. But soon our laugh were shushed by Paloma's shuffling.

J: She is an angel.

His eyes were twinkling. I grinned.

K: Yes. Yes she is.

He and I sat down and chatted.

J: So you and Mitch?

I told him about the bj incident. His eyebrows furrowed and it was funny

J: You should talk to him.
K: Why?
J: Trust me. He won't do it on purposely.

I huffed.

K: No way
J: For me?
K:Why...Jo....

I whined and he grinned. He held my hand and turned into a serious face.

J: Just go talk to him now. I will be there for you.
K: Fine.

I felt a blush threatenjng to come out but I forced it back in. So I stood up and called Maggie in.

K: Please take care of Paloma

After I made sure Maggie will be with Paloma I hesitantly walked out.

J: Don't worry. It's not like he will eat you or something
K: Might bite me

We laughed and joked. It eased my nerves a little. But soon I arrived at Mitch's office. My whole body tensed. I didn't know what to do.

Jo looked at me and gave me a assuring look. So I knocked the door hesitantly.

M: Come in

I opened the door. But as soon as I stepped in I found something disturbing. The room was full of smoke. Smokes from the weeds.

K: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?
