Am I In Love - Chapter 11

***Derek's P.O.V***

I wake up earlier than Cass and head upstairs to her room. I go to her closet pulling out an extra set of clothes I have for when I stay over. I head to the bathroom and turn on the shower. I pull out a new toothbrush and brush my teeth. I then get into the shower while Cassidy sleeps.

***Cassidy's P.O.V***

I wake up and see Derek's not next to me. I sigh and sit up. I brush my hair away from my face and get up. I head up the stairs and into my room. I hear the shower running and I know it's Derek.  I run into My closet looking for a set of clothes for the day. Just as I get out with my clothes Derek gets out of the bathroom. He stands there wrapped in his towel. "Oh Cass you're up." He says. "Yea. I just woke up." I tell him, heading to the bathroom. I turn on the shower and I picture Derek just standing there  in my room in just his towel. I brush my teeth and get into the shower. I stand there as the water beats down onto my skin. I close my eyes and begin to run my hair though the water. I pick up my shampoo and add some into my hair. I continue to picture Derek standing there in my room. How can such a gorgeous guy be gay? Is he even sure he's gay? I wash the shampoo out of my hair and begin to massage my conditioner into it. I grab my comb and run it through my hair to untangle it. I wash out the conditioner and begin to wash my body.

 After another 10 minutes in the shower I get out and grab my towel.  I wrap it around myself grabbing another one for my hair. I wrap my hair and head to my room. I grab a set of bra and panties from my drawer and head to my bed. Derek is sitting waiting for me. "Geez! You take forever Cass." he says to me playfully. "Oh shut up you asshole!" I say to him giggling. I dry myself off and put on my bra and panties. I read over to my desk and grab my lotion. I rub it onto my body slowly. I glance over to Derek as I begin to put my pants on. I notice him looking at me and feel myself blushing slightly. I pick up my shirt and put it on. I go into the closet and look for shoes to match my washed out, blue skinny jeans and sleeveless, black flowy shirt. I look over to my black, high heel, ankle boots. I grab them and sit on my bed putting them on. I tie the laces and stand up. "I still don't get how you wear those." Derek says to me laughing. I giggle and roll my eyes at him. I run to the bathroom and begin to blow dry my hair. I grab some gel scrunching my hair as I dry it. I begin to apply my makeup starting with a neutral eye shadow look with a nice winged liner. I apply some lip balm to my lips and then apply my concealer and foundation  cleaning up a little around the eye area. I contour and highlight and blend everything in. When everything is blended I line my water line with black liner and add a little bit of glitter liner to my inner eye tear duct area. I grab my signature Jeffree Star lipstick in the shade "Posh Spice".  I get out of the bathroom and back into my room. "I'm heading down stairs for breakfast." I tell Derek and he gets up to join me. We head downstairs to the smell of my moms famous chocolate chip pancakes. I grab a plate and stack a few pancakes onto it sitting down at the table. I add some butter and lots of maple syrup. Derek stares at me and laughs. I look at him as I stuff a fork full of pancakes into my mouth. "What? I ask him with my mouth full.  He looks at me and laughs "Nothing" he says. We finish eating and head out for school.

We're walking down the street and Derek randomly pokes me. I look at him, "The hell was that for" I say to him. He shrugs his shoulders. I poke him back  and dodge his next poke at me. We burst into a fit of laughter and continue walking. No matter how old we get, Derek and I will always act like kids. Even if we can't ever be together, I know we'll always be the best of friends. I forget my train of thought as we get to school. I look over to see Jake waiting for me at the door.
