Chapter 5

"Well, It's getting late, so I suggest we climb a tree and hollow it out so we can sleep in it."

The two agree and I put ladders on the trunk and climb up. We hollow out the leaves and fall asleep. I wake to moaning, Zombies. I groan and get my bow out. I shoot a few before Nick starts yelling at them to leave. Surprisingly, they leave. I look at Nick with a confused expression, "What just happened?"

He looked as shocked as me, "I-I don't know, I just wanted them to go away, so I yelled at them. Maybe Zombies are smarter than we think?"

"Yeah, I hope so." I look over to where Olivia is sleeping. "How did she sleep through all that?"

"I have no idea." He shrugs and crawls back into bed. I roll my eyes and fall back asleep.

~time skip cause I'm too lazy to make a dream~

I wake up to see everyone up. We pick up our beds and ladders. Time to head home.

~Magical Time Skip to when they're halfway there~

When we are about halfway home, Nick stops suddenly. "Uh, Gelly? You might wanna turn around." I turn around to see random blocks floating behind.

"Ok." I keep on walking.

"Wait, why are you not freaking out?" He asks as he and Olivia run to catch up to me.

"My mom had sorcery in her blood. I was either gonna have sorcery or-" My eyes become as big as saucers. "Oh Notch!" I start to run to the village.

"Wait Gelly!" Too late I was too far ahead. It took me about 5 minutes to get home. I can run pretty fast, if I need to. Anyway, I run to Jen and Dani's house and knock on the door.

"Gelly? What are you doing here? I thought you were looking for a village with Nick." Jen says.

"That's not important, I need to speak to Dani." I say in between breaths. Jen runs to Dani and gets her.

"What's up?" She asks all casual-like.

"This is what's up." I make a block float into the air. She looks at me with a happy expression.

"YAY! I got the ender dragon genes." She starts a little happy dance. Allow me to explain. Our mom had sorcery in her blood, and our dad had ender dragon. (Don't ask how.) We always knew we would get one or the other. I wanted sorcery; she wanted ender dragon.
