Chapter 14

~one month later~

[Yes, I am skipping all that time]

It's been a month since we rescued Alex. He's fine now, but at first he was scared of physical contact.

We've had a few battles, nothing major. Dani built a wall around the village with gates and watch towers. [The village of MagmaCraft. I'm not lying; it's really the name]. Right now I'm on guard duty with Olivia. There's an intercom that we can talk with each other. "Olivia, I'm bored."

"What do you expect? No one ever comes here."

I sigh and look out the window. There's a figure out in the distance. It's covered in a black cloak. "Olivia, do you see that?"

"See what?" She looks out the window and sees the figure. "Oh, it's coming closer."

It's about 20 blocks from the gate. "Olivia, we have to go down."

"Lets wait until he pushes the button." There's a button that acts like a doorbell. The figure pushes it. I hear a ding. I grab my bow and teleport downstairs. I wait for Olivia to come down before I open the gate. She comes down and I flick the lever. I aim my bow at the strange figure.

"State your business."

"I need to speak to your leader." Its voice is deep, like a man's.

"We have no leader."

"This is the village of MagmaCraft, correct?"

"You are correct."

"I need to speak to the leader of this village."

"This village does not have a leader, only a commander."

"I would like to speak to him."

"Take off your cloak."

"Now, why would I do that?" I'm getting really suspicious.

"BECAUSE YOU COULD BE THE GOD DAMN KING SQUID IN DISGUISE!" I am really pissed off now.

"Ok, ok, fine." He pulls back the hood and takes it off. Glowing, white eyes stare down at me.

"Herobrine." Why'd you have to bring him in Gelly?

[Really? This book was going smoothly. Did you have to break the fourth wall?]

Yeah, it was necessary.

[Ugg, whatever. Just don't do it again.]

Ok, ok, fine.

"Why are you here?" Olivia asks.

"I told you; I need to speak to the commander."

"If you want to speak to him, you have to speak to the whole village. Those are the rules."

"I still want to speak to him." He sighs annoyed.

"Olivia, get everyone else." I say. She runs off. I lead Herobrine to the new court place. [Because Dan burned down the other one.] I never put my bow down. Everyone comes in and sits down.

(Facing everyone) Alex and Julia

"Thank you for all coming. Gelly, you can put your bow away." Alex says. I shot the arrow downwards. "GOD DANGIT I SHOT MY FOOT!" Everyone laughs at that.

"Now we have been gathered here today for a reason. While Gelly and Olivia were on guard duty, Herobrine came to our door. Why?" Julia says/ asks.

"I want to help you guys. All the creatures of the nether have turned on me. To regain control, the Ender Dragon needs to be defeated."

"All in favor of letting Herobrine help us?" Everyone raises their hand.

"I'm still keeping an eye on you." I still don't trust him.

"Ok, so how we doing on food?" Alex asks.

"Good." Caroline says. [I actually forgot who was department of food, so I went back to the very first part of this story.]

"How about weapons?" Julia asks.

"I found out that instead of flint, you can use gemstones for arrows instead. They give more or less damage depending on the gem." Jenna says.

"Potions?" Alex asks. I make the perfect sign or 👌.

"Building supplies?"

"A-Ok." Dani says.

"Did we get any letters, Jen?"

"Yeah." She hands Alex the letter.
