Percy awoke with a massive headache making him groan and close his eyes rubbing them after he did so.
He sighed and sat up before putting his feet on the floor. He looked and saw he was still in his party pants but had no shirt on. Then the memories flooded through his head what he had done. He had asked his girlfriend to marry him.
Percy groaned and put his face in his hands. After he sat for a moment trying to clear his head he went and washed his face before brushing his teeth and changing into jeans and a white t-shirt.
Percy made his way downstairs where Grover sat drinking coffee as he talked to his wife through his cell phone.
"No, it was just Percy. Yes, I'll tell him you said hello." Grover mouthed hello to Percy and Percy nodded back before watching Grover tense up after Juniper said something.
"Yeah, tell him I said I love him." Grover sighed sadly. That's when Percy knew what they were talking about. Grover had a son and only recently Grover had opened up to Percy about him. Turn's out Grover's son had cancer. He was diagnosed at about five, he was currently ten and he was back at Chemo-Therapy again. Percy didn't understand how they did it. How they dealt with the sorry. He was truly sorry for them.
Grover sighed and said goodbye to Juniper before hanging up and glaring at Percy.
"What's for breakfast?" Percy asked and Grover took a sip of his coffee. "Cereal, eat up." Grover said and Percy groaned.
Percy got out a bowl and a spoon alone with the milk and Toasted Cinnamon Crunch before pouring himself a bowl and sitting down before eating up like his friend had told him to do.
"You have a doctors appointment at ten." Percy groaned at Grover's words making Grover glare.
"I don't care, you're sick." Grover said in a authoritative voice that Percy hadn't heard before.
"I'm fine, did you see how I partied last night?" Percy leaned back and raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, you partied hard." Grover looked at the table and his ears turned red.
"You're still going to the doctor anyways."
"UUUUUUGHH!" Percy leaned forwards in exasperation hiding his face in his arms.
"Fine............ Mom."
~~
Percy drove himself to the doctor in a borrowed car from Grover which wasn't expensive so he didn't look that likely to other people that he was actually one of the most famous secular artists at the time.
Percy walked in and went to his assigned room in the hospital from a nurse for his appointment.
Percy sat on the bed and waited for his doctor for about twenty minutes before he came in and looked at him.
The doctor looked in Percy's ears, mouth, and nose. Then he took a swab of saliva from the back of his throat making Percy gag a bit. But the doctor showed no sympathy.
"I'll be back Mr. Jackson." With that the doctor left and only a few minutes later another male doctor came in.
The man had on the usual white coat and name tag saying 'Dr. A'. He had sandy blonde hair and clear blue eyes that shined like the sky. The man was handsome, but he was nothing compared to Percy. At least that's what Percy thought.
"Hello, Perseus Jackson." The doctor sat down after locking the door making Percy gulp because no one other than his mother and himself knew his full name. PLUS THE GUY HAD JUST LOCKED THE DOOR, IS HE A MURDERER!? Oh gosh, Percy thought. HEEEEEEEEEEEELP MEEEEEEEEE!
Percy wondered if this was the last doctor's visit he would ever have.
"I know why you're here." The doctor smiled.
"Yeah, a cold." Percy said like it was obvious.
Dr. A chuckled and pat Percy's leg.
"You went to a part last night? Correct?" The doctor asked and Percy wondered if he was a magician.
"Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh, y-yeah?" Percy said uncertainly. He questioned himself if he should trust the man.
"And I hear you're a bit arrogant?" The man asked Percy and he scoffed before leaning back crossing his arms defensively.
"Yeah? What if I am? So what?" Percy snapped and the man let himself smirk a bit.
"Well, you need to stop. And nothing els is going to work."
"As if! Besides! I don't even know who you are or even if your'e a doctor.
"Oh I'm a doctor alright." The man stood and fixed his coat.
"You will have guidance, she'll help you."
"What-? Who-?"
"Goodbye Percy." The man unlocked the door and left right before the first doctor came back and gave Percy the pills he needed to take in order to feel better before he could leave.
Percy sat in the driver's seat and huffed. Then his phone buzzed. He looked and saw it was Rachel calling. He smiled his mood lightening up a bit.
"Hey babe." Rachel greeted and Percy let out a sigh before replying with a nice friendly hello.
"Can I come over today?" She asked and Percy sighed hearing the hopefulness in her voice. He kinda wanted to be alone today.
"Uh, not today Rachel. I'm not feeling so well."
"Alright, just called me when you feel better." Then Rachel hung up making Percy sigh and start the car before deciding to drive around the city to calm his nerves.
Somehow the hum of the engine and being in control of something calmed him.
But he still couldn't get his mind off that weird doctor. Dr A.
He drove home late at night before going up to his room and crashing into the sheets falling into a deep, deep sleep.
<~~>
And now, the fun begins.
*smirks evilly*
