What If?

<13> Another Creepy Doctor Appointment.

Percy's eyes fluttered open to see a white ceiling above him a sigh emitting from his lips. Memories from the night before flooded into his mind reminding him of the fight and why he was sleeping on the uncomfortable couch.

Percy sat up and groaned rubbing his temples his back aching from all the stress and the terrible surface he had to sleep on the previous night.

Percy looked and saw the TV had turned off the video's he had watched put to a stop since the TV had been on so long.

Percy stood and started to make his way over to the TV before he felt it coming.

"Oh n- ACHOOO!" Percy sneezed putting his hands over his face to catch everything that flew from his nose and mouth before it landed on everything in the clean living room.

"Aww gross." Percy muttered examining the snot covering his hands.

He groaned, walked to the bathroom, washed them, then he went back to the living room and turned took the recordings of his family and put them back where he found them.

He sighed and itched his nose and went and grabbed his stuff on the couch before walking to Annabeth's room. Percy stopped in front of the door. Should he knock? Or walk in without knocking, it was his house after all?

Percy took in a deep breath and lightly knocked on the door. "Hey Annabeth, can I come in?" He stood in silence for a moment before sighing. "I have to put my bed stuff away, and get ready for the doctors."

Then he heard footsteps making him look up from the floor.

"Sure, let yourself in. I'm not in there anyways." Percy looked to his right to see Annabeth take a sip of her coffee before passing him and walking into the living room.

Percy quickly facepalmed after Annabeth couldn't see him anymore and walked into the room before putting the sheets away and putting his pillow back on his bed.

Percy then went and slipped on some day clothes which were jeans and a blue t-shirt along with shoes and socks of course.

Percy sighed and grabbed his wallet before stuffing it in his pocket. he was going to need it if he was going to the hospital. But since they had insurance it wouldn't cost as much as it usually would.

Percy walked out to the kitchen where he found Luke eating cereal at the table as Annabeth sat on the counter takings mall bites of strawberry yogurt.

"Hey, I'm gonna go to the hospital to get- ACHOO!" Percy wiped his nose with his hand and Annabeth nodded. "Yeah, go get your cold checked out. You've had it for a long time."

Annabeth glanced from Luke to Percy several times until Luke spoke up. "Bye dad, have fun." Luke said halfheartedly though Percy could sense some sarcasm in it.

"Bye Luke." Percy made his way over to Annabeth nervously before gently kissing Annabeth on her cheek quickly pulling away and whispering, "I'm gonna pick up Zoe on the way back."

Annabeth just starred at the table Luke was eating at for a moment before nodding. "Ok good." she said and Percy nodded before starting to walk to the door hearing Annabeth mutter one last completely sarcastic sentence. "Hopefully no colonoscopy."

Percy walked out the door and got into the car when it finally dawned on him what she meant. Percy groaned and shook his head his cheeks turning a light pink.

Yep, she was still mad at him.

The ride to the hospital was long and annoying since Percy had Siri directing his every move to the hospital since he didn't remember the town well.
