<21> I Get A Warning From A Crazy Doctor.

"Percy Jackson!" 

Percy turned to see Leo walk out of restaurant his hair a little messed up and his cheeks red. 

"Yes Leo?" Percy said working on the car in the shop with the wrench in his hand. "You're not supposed to be here today!" Leo exclaimed and Percy looked over his shoulder to see Leo had raised his hands for extra effect. Leo was extra like that.

"What? Why not? I took a whole weekend off." Percy said and Leo sighed, "Here at the shop, everyone who's married takes their anniversary day off. The garage and restaurant will be closed on Calypso and I's anniversary. Your wedding day is a very special day." Leo explained and Percy's eyes widened.

Percy set down the wrench and took a deep breath, "So what you're saying is..." Percy stepped closer to Leo who was just standing there patiently as he watched Percy. "I could've slept in this morning?" 

Leo rolled his eyes before patting Percy's back, "Go home Percy, go spend time with Annabeth." Leo said in a soft voice Percy sighing in defeat. "Thanks Leo, I will."

Leo smiled, "No, problem bro. Now go! Annabeth's gotta be missing you!" Leo exclaimed and Percy smiled before grabbing his jacket. "See you tomorrow Leo!" Percy opened his car door and waved to Leo who waved back grabbing a wrench with his other hand. 

Percy slid into his car and slammed the door closed before awaking the engine and driving towards home a concerned look on his face as he thought about what he wanted to do. What the heck was he supposed to do for his anniversary!??!

His first anniversary at that... Well, the first one that he'd be experiencing anyways.

Then a thought appeared in Percy's head and he turned around to the nearest store. He parked and ran inside before picking out the prettiest looking flowers that he thought Annabeth would like before paying and starting to walk out of the store.

"Percy Jackson." Percy heard someone call his name and the sound of familiarity made shivers run down his spine. He turned and looked to see Will beside a boy who had black hair and deep brown eyes. His hair was longer than most men's hair but it wasn't hideously long either. He wore a black Imagine Dragons t-shirt. Percy remembered talking with them a couple times when he was popular. And he wasn't married.

"Yes?" Percy asked feeling a little annoyed, his run ins with doctors recently weren't the most pleasant. Mostly awkward and confusing.

"You time is almost finished." Will said the curls in her messy bun blowing out form the cool wind. The other man who stood beside her looked over at her, Will keeping her unemotional gaze on Percy.

"What are you talking about?" Her asked having to physically make himself not squeeze the flowers he just bought and ruin them. 

Will drew in a deep breath, "Your time here is expiring." The man looked from Will and over to Percy his emotion turning to pity. Percy was so confused. He had no idea what Will was talking about. And the man she was with seemed to know exactly what was going on.

"So when it does happen, don't be too surprised." Will said in a someone authoritative/threatening voice. "So use your time wisely." she said and Percy just glared at her as she glared back.

They held their heated stares at each other until Will turned and headed into the man following her giving Percy one last sad glance. Percy watched them walk away seeing the man grab her hand gently and intertwine their fingers his golden ring glinting in the light.

Percy looked down at his own ring before turning and getting into his car putting the flowers in the passengers seat before driving to the nearest Starbuck's and getting Annabeth's favorite drink and starting to head home.

Percy tried but he couldn't get the conversation with Will out of his head. Something about his time expiring? What the heck did that mean? His time wasn't expiring... Unless she meant someone was going to kill him. Or he'd die.

Percy got a bad feeling in his stomach. His head had no idea what was going to happen but his heart sure did know.

Percy came home to find Zoe running around the house screaming as Annabeth chased her as she chanted she was going to get her. Zoe ran faster when she saw Percy running straight into his arms... Or, err, legs? She was pretty little still. 

"Save me daddy!" She exclaimed looking back at Annabeth who was doing her best to laugh evilly. "Sorry Zoe, I'm with Annabeth."

Zoe gasped as if Percy had just stabbed her in the back.

"You betrayed me!" She exclaimed not paying attention to Annabeth letting her get a chance to grab her- which she took.

"Ahh!" Zoe screamed as Annabeth laughed tickling her. "I've got you now!" Annabeth exclaimed in victory as Zoe squirmed in distress as she laughed her head off.

Percy smiled at the scene completely forgetting everything that happened in the parking lot with Will.

As soon as Annabeth was finished "torturing" Zoe she set her down and let her run away before standing up straight and looked at Percy who smiled at her and handed her the drink in his hand. 

"Thanks Percy." Annabeth sipped the drink before licking her lips and looking at Percy who was watching her intently. Man, she was so pretty.. How'd he get so lucky?

"I-I called Jason and asked if they could have the kids for a few hours so we can go out on a little date for our anniversary." Percy said and Annabeth smiled. 

"Good, I already gave you my gift." She crossed her arms under her chest as she said that. "So that means it's your turn to give me mine." She leaned in whispering the last sentence before poking his chest in a matter-of-factly way as she looked into his eyes a mischievous look etched on her face. 

Percy smirked, "I have a couple of things planned." he said with a wink before leaning in and whispering something in Annabeth's before kissing her neck in her most sensitive spot.

She pushed Percy away to reveal her red face. "The kids!" She whispered harshly and Percy chuckled before wrapping an arm around her waist his hands resting place a little low. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." Percy gave her behind a little squeeze and Annabeth squeaked a little bit before pulling away from him. "Perseus!" She exclaimed making him chuckle.

"Alright, alright. I'll save that for later." Percy said and Annabeth nodded before they split up to tell the kids they were spending the evening with the Grace's.

"R-really!?" Luke said sitting up quickly his cheeks dusting pink making Percy chuckle. "Yeah, get ready. And comb your hair, it's a bit messy." Percy said and Luke ran his hand his messy hair before he ran out the door past Percy to the bathroom saying and 'excuse me' as he pushed past.

Percy chuckled. Luke definitely had a crush alright.
