I searched for the key in my purse. I put it in and unlocked the door.
"Spence?" I called out.
"Here." She shouted from the living room.
I
kept my bag on the kitchen counter and headed towards the living room.
"Hey-" I was cut off when she shushed me.
"Don't shush-"
She shushed me again.
I rolled my eyes. Then my attention fell onto the TV.
"Niall Horan From One Direction and Selena Gomez, Seen By Fans Hanging out in Miami Along With Some Friends. Is This Hollywood's New Couple Alert? Some claim to have seen them making out. Looks like the former boyband is off the market. Sorry Niall girls!" The reporter said.
I felt a little pain forming in my chest. This little weird feeling. What was it? Was it old memories haunting me again? Why do things from the past chase me again and again? Sometimes,Don't you wish you could erase some memories? I thought,
I had left my memories behind in the search of freedom, but I guess these dark, cold heartless memories, never left my side. Each time I heard his name, I'd break, crumble down like paper.
I couldn't let this happen to myself. Not again. So,I grabbed the remote from the coffee table and turned off the t.v.
"Hey, I was watching that." Spence sat up.
"Yes, I know, I thought you would want to know what happend?" I said, smartly changing topics.
"Yes I am, But you just can't stop me from watching stuff, ESPECIALLY NEWS ABOUT MY FAVE BAND MEMBER!" Spence whined.
"Fine. Watch it. Then I won't tell you what happend." I pretended like I wasn't gonna tell her. Well, you can say acting school really helped me alot.
"Ugh, No. I wanna knowww Pleassssssseeee." She begged as she fell for my words.
"Well, um..we.." I blushed.
"OH.MY.GOD AJSJSJS YOU..YOU CALEB OMG, A COUPLE. YAS YASS OMG IM SO HAPPY." She began to jump on my couch, and then 'thud' came a sound as she fell onto the floor.
I laughed as she fell.
"Ouch," she rubbed her back.
"Careful bud," I said helding a hand for her to grab.
She stood up," Thanks.. and Oooohhh, welcome to the fam Alexis." she said nudging me with that naughty smile of hers.
"Shutup," I mumbled under my breath, as I looked away.
"What did you say?" She held her ears forward like she never heard me.
"Caleb and I are just dating Spence. We're not getting married." I said trying my best not to smile.
"Yeah, yeah I know, but you know I can.." She climbed on my couch and dramatically added,"Feel and see the future.."
"Right.." I chuckled.
