-Nialls P.O.V-
--In the plane--
Alexis was sitting parallel to me. I couldn't help but stare at her once in a while. Was I falling for her?
She and Natalie wouldn't stop giggling and that wouldn't stop melting my heart.
God,that smile is so perfect.
She whispered something to Natalie, and Natalie nodded, she got up from her seat, and walked over to me.
"She wants us to switch places," Natalie said to me.
Jason, who was seated beside me, woke up from his sleep hearing his gf's voice.
I watched Alexis peep her head at the side of the seat, giving her eyes enough view of me.
"Okay," I smiled and happily went over to her.
"Hey," she said.
I sat beside her, our bodies only an inch apart.
"Waddup?" I asked.
"I was bored, so I kinda told Natalie to switch seats, she agreed obviously because of.." She said and I continued,"Jason."
She nodded.
"You saved me. That guy literally was falling on my shoulders in his sleep." I laughed.
"Oh well, See I'm your rescue." She smiled.
I nodded.
She looked at me in the eyes. That eye contact, set my heart beats fast. Maybe eye contact how souls catch on fire.
Something at that moment, made me intertwine our fingers. I didn't really know what I was doing, or feeling at that moment, I just didn't want to let go of her.
She was a little tense at my action, but then eased with a smile.
Our hands fitted together perfectly. She slowly rested her head on my shoulder and I couldn't help but dance happily in my mind.
"I think I'm sleepy," she said, then lifting my hand and placing it around her shoulder.
She scooted herself closer to me, her head resting sideways on my chest, while her other arm held me, tight.
I rubbed her arm slowly and gently,as I watched her eyes close and slowly drifting off to sleep.
-Alexis P.O.V-
Niall didn't mind me resting my head on his chest, while I drifted away into deep sleep. It wasn't the first time I fell asleep like this. The fact that I just feel so safe and warm near him, just kinda makes me wish we were more than just bestfriends. Maybe that's all we'll ever be. Bestfriends.
When he first intertwined our hands, I was shocked, but then decided to go with it.
Could we stay like this forever?
My heart made a wish.
