*Danielle's POV*

The prison had been unusually quiet today. I guess some were upset over having to leave the prison even it was temporary. I was preoccupied with looking at my ring that I didn't hear Daryl walk up on me.

"Ready babygirl?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm ready." I sighed.

I followed him out to his bike and climbed on behind him.

"Here, put this on." He said handing me the poncho.

I slipped it over my head and smoothed it out before wrapping my arms around his waist. He got the bike started and we followed the others as we drove away from the prison.

After hiding out in the woods around the prison for what felt like hours I could finally hear the Governor's men attacking the prison. Sophia was holding onto me shaking like a leaf.

"Are you scared or cold?" I asked her.

"Cold I think." She said through chattering teeth.

I quickly pulled Daryl's poncho off of me and put it on her.

"Thanks." She smiled.

"Don't thank me. Daryl made me put it on so thank him." I told her.

In between the sounds at the prison I heard footsteps coming up behind us.

"Sophia stay behind me." I told her turning around and shoving her behind my back.

I raised my gun and got the safety off just in time to see the one person in the world that I never thought I'd see again.

"Jonny!?" I yelled.

"Danielle?" He asked.

"I can't believe it! You're alive!" I yelled running over to him.

"Me neither. Is Dad with you?" He asked hugging me tightly.

I shook my head then told him, "Dad died back when it all started. He got torn apart in Atlanta. I almost did too until I got saved by a guy in the group I'm now a part of. So you were in Woodbury the whole time?"

"Not the whole time, just the last few months or so. If I had known you were a part of the prison group I would've pushed harder for us to not come here. I'm not going back if you think your group will let me stay." He replied.

"They'll let you stay, I'll make them." I told him.

"Dani, who's this?" Sophia asked.

"This is my brother Jonathan but I think he'll let you call him Jon or Jonny. Jonny this is Sophia. She's the daughter of one of our group members." I said introducing them.

"Hi Jonny." Sophia smiled.

"Hi Sophia." Jonny smiled back at her.

I could hear other footsteps coming up on us and by the footfalls I knew it was Daryl.

"Jonny, you're about to meet the love of my life." I said as Daryl came through the trees.

I saw the gun in his hand and knew who it was pointed at.

"Daryl, put it away. That's my brother." I said.

He seemed hesitant but eventually he lowered his gun. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around his waist and looked up at him.

"Be nice. He's my brother and he didn't know I was here." I told Daryl.

"I'll be as nice as I can. One of us deserves to have our brother." He replied.
