Chapter Three-Time For A Change?

"Really? You honestly like Marco?!?" I exclaimed, happily, jumping up and holding her hands in mine.
"Y-Yeah, I'm sure I like him" Jackie replied, shyly.

This was a-mazing news!

Both Jackie and Marco liked each other! Now all I had to do was bring them together...
A satisfied smile spread over my face, as I clasped Jackie's hands even tighter.

This was gonna be a cinch!

"Jackie! Star! I finished making dinner already! Come and get it!" Came Marco's voice from downstairs.
"We're on our way!" I shouted back, pulling Jackie off of her bed and out of her room.
As I playfully pulled Jackie out of the room, my eye caught the photo of Marco and I together.
I felt a strange feeling all of sudden...it lasted for about a second, but I couldn't put my finger on what it was...

All I knew that it wasn't a good feeling...

Marco's POV
I'm glad that Mom taught me how to cook! I wouldn't have been able to make this tasty-looking lasange otherwise!
It was steaming hot and it looked really good! I was pretty proud about how it turned out, if I do say so myself.
The girls came downstairs a few seconds later, giggling about something or other. I just hoped it didn't concern me...

Star caught one look of the food and her face twisted in displeasure.
"Aww...this again?" She said, dissapointedly, frowing at my masterpiece.
"Hm? What's wrong with it? Did I add too much cheese or something?" I asked, examining the dish closely.
"No, it's not that, Marco...it's just that I can't stand that..."
The blond was visibly shaking as she pointed towards the lasange.
"Huh? You don't like lasange, Star?" Jackie asked, taking a seat at the table. "That sure sucks, it's favourite, as well..."
"Sorry...I just can't stomach it very well..."
"I can whip up some Paella or something, real quick" I offered, kindly.
"Aw, c'mon Marco, you don't have to do all that for me! I'll just magic up some food" the princess replied, beaming.
Her slender hand moved towards her yellow star-shaped pouch, but she stopped suddenly.
I looked at her, a little confused. (This isn't the first time I've done this!)

Star plastered a wooden smile on her face and winked at me, well at least it seemed like a wink...
"Oh dear me! It looks like I have forgotten my wand in my room! I better go and get it!" She announced, loudly before running out of the kitchen, giggling like crazy.
That just left Jackie and me...by ourselves...
Now I could see what Star was getting at!

"U-Uhm...well we better eat, right?" I said, nervously, tucking into the food, hoping that I wasn't going to make this too awkward for Jackie.
"You're pretty good at cooking, aren't you, Diaz?" She smiled at me.
"M-Me? W-Well, you know, I just happen to know a couple of recipies, nothing too special" I blushed, looking away.
"Haha, you're one modest guy"
"I-I guess so..."

Ugh...it had gone quiet now...Was I really making this awkward, just like I suspected?

I suddenly heard a loud thumping sound coming from upstairs.
Phew...It seemed like I was just spared from one of the biggest, most awkwardest moments in the history of mankind...
"Don't worry about that sound, I'll go and sort it out. It's probably just Star, anyways" I said, getting up and jogging out of the room, before Jackie could stop me.

The second I reached the staircase, I instantly heard Star's voice.
"Marco! Stop that laser puppy!" She shouted, chasing after a bundle of pure cuteness and potential destruction and in it's mouth, it was holding...

Star's wand!

I leapt towards the pup and snatched the wand, out of it's small teeth, easily.
"Star! I got-Whoa!" I shouted in suprise, as a certain Mewnian princess came flying down the stairs towards me!
All I remember is hitting heads our together and seeing a bright pink light...

As soon as I gained consiousness, a few seconds later, I found myself staring at myself...
"Huh? What's going on here?" I muttered, but I stopped speaking almost instantly.
'That was Star's voice!' I thought in my head in complete and utter shock. 'Why do I have Star's voice?'
"Marco? Huh?!? What the-" the me in front of me said in confusion. "What happened to my voice?"

"Star, I think I know what happened..." I began. "We've switched bodies..."
