I bolt to the other side of the counter in hopes that he won't catch up. His laugh is a song to my heart as it rings throughout the kitchen. "You're going to have to do a lot better than that if you want to catch me babe." I giggle as he flips me off.
"I'm faster than you think." He chides as he slowly inches toward me. I squeal as he touches my arm, ready to grab me but just in time I run to the other side of the kitchen. All of a sudden Xavier stops and grabs on to the side of the counter. I physically see his breathing slow down and I am suddenly drowning in worry.
Rushing over to him I put my hand on his back and rub small circles. "Baby what's wrong? Are you okay? Should I call an ambulance?" The words rush out of my mouth faster than I can process. Xavier shakes his head and I spot a small smile right before he grabs me and starts tickling me wildly. We laugh and I try to wriggle out of his grasp but he only tickles me more. "S-stop." I breath out in a laughing-wheezing voice. He instantly stops but the boyish smile is still plastered on his face.
We sit down at the island and eat our bacon. " I love you, you know that?" Xavier tells me, kissing the side of my mouth. "I love you too." I tap his nose with my strip of bacon. For a moment we stare into eachothers eyes and just smile. Of course, all good things come to an end and Larissa comes barreling into the kitchen. I forgot her hoe ass was here and the sight of her made me uneasy and cringe.
"Hi Xavier." She smiles softly and swings her hips walking towards us. "Madeline." Her smile turns sour.
I roll my eyes and get up to clear our dishes. Xavier takes a quick moment to smack my ass and to that I turn back and stick my tongue out at him. "Aw you guys are adorable." Larissa says with the most obvious hint of disgust. She might as well have gagged and told us to go kill ourselves. "Yea we are." I give her my biggest smile. Xavier laughs and gets up. "I have somewhere to be so play nice girls." He winks at me and kisses my cheek, gives Larissa a smile I can't quite make out and leaves.
My mind starts to go wild as I start to wash the plates. I can't believe he left me with this bitch! What is he trying to do?? Make me kill her?! Ugh, maybe I should make conversation and get to know her a bit. But I already know she's bitchy. I shake my head and sigh. I'll just stay quiet.
Instead of her following my same protocol, she starts to talk.
"So Xavier chose you huh." She starts to dry the plates. I roll my eyes and frown. "Yup." I simply answer hoping she will stop this whole small talk thing. "He's great in bed to so you're a lucky girl." I stopped mid rinse and look at her. "What are you trying to do?" I straighten up and give off that alpha female vibe. She looks over at me and seems to back up a little. From what I could see, I was a few inches taller than her which gave me the confidence I needed. "What do you mean?" Larissa smiles but I can tell its unsure and nervous.
I make a motion to move forward and keep my glare to which she backs up.
"You are trying to do something and I haven't figured out exactly what it is but when I do I'm shutting it down. You are to not touch him you got that? He's mine and I promise you, if you do anything or try to make a move on him I'll break you." Her eyes are wide with shock. "I don't trust you one bit and he's not your play toy anymore so just forget anything you two had back then because it's ended and will never start again."
Turning back to the sink I finish rinsing off the dish and put the expensive plate back into its cabinet. Without looking back I walk out of the kitchen and smile to myself. Take that bitch. My inner subconscious chides.
Upstairs I find Xavier in his gaming room. Rolling my eyes, I walk over to him and plop myself onto his lap. "I thought you had something important to do." I raise and eyebrow and play with his hair. A smile tugs at the corner of his mouth. "Well this is pretty important." He lifts his console and shakes it a bit, turning back to his 49' inch tv. Why does he need such a big tv, I have no idea. "Some of the guys are coming over today so why don't you go out with Kaylie? We've been together all the time and you hardly hang out with her now." I take his controller pausing the game and straddle him.
