On Sunday I told Kaylie; to which she freaked out and wanted me to tell her everything. Shyly I told her the basics but nothing too exposing. Of course, I did want some things to only be between me and Xavier. Obviously before I knew it, Calvin found out from Kaylie - probably as revenge for outing my walk-in experience to Xavier - and questioned me concerned.

Today school started and the long weekend was over. Calvin and Kaylie finally declared their relationship which I basically knew was going to happen. Everything was pretty great in life at the moment. Me and Xavier became more close then ever. Every time we were in the same room, I felt a physical pull - we both did.

"Babee stop!" I giggle as Xavier tries telling some of his horrible jokes and pickup lines that he "claims" he's used to get me. Kaylie and Calvin are almost in tears from how horribly silly and terrible they are.

Kaylie grins my way and I return it happily. She raises her eyebrows and nods her head to the side as her way of telling me that we need to talk. We excuse ourselves leaving the two boys alone. "Whats up?" I hook arms with my best friend. Her preppy self is now officially back and intact. "You and Xavier are totes cute! I'm glad you guys are getting along well." She winks. I groan and roll my eyes, "You and Calvin are getting along even more exceptionally well. Hope I don't walk in on the action again though."

When she gives me a death glare, I burst out in laughter.

"Gosh I'm joking don't stab me or anything." I give her a playful pouty face. She rolls her eyes and returns to her grin. "We need to go on a double date again!" Kaylie looks my way with a pleading, excited look in her eyes. I sigh and nod slightly. "Why not, sounds like fun." I say blandly but it's enough of an answer for Kay. She claps her hands happily and kisses my cheek. "You're the best!!"

After we head back to our boys. Hm, I like that. No third wheeling will be happening anytime soon. As we get back both boys stand and embrace us. "Thank god you're back!" Xavier whispers and kisses my neck. I frown and make him release me. "Why are you frowning?" He has a pouting look which reminds me of a picture I saw of him as little Xavier. Playful and cute as he is now yet so different.

"You need to get along with him." I tell him in a low voice trying to not make Calvin or Kay hear us. "Do I have to?" He whines and grasps my waist, pulling me closer to him.

I raise an eyebrow.  "Yes Xavier. You have to if you want to keep me." I add jokingly. His eyes widen and he blinks. "I'll try. Please don't leave me." He sounds lost and sad. I take his face in my hands instantly feeling guilty. "I was joking baby." Kissing him, his features return to normal and he frowns. "Not nice Brooks." I grin up at him and go onto my tip toes to kiss his noes.

A smile tugs at his lips as he tries to suppress it.

Someone says my name and I turn around to see who it is. Xavier takes that time to smack my ass and I turn back scowling at him with a hidden smile. I turn back my attention to the voice and I see Malachi heading towards me. As he gets closer I see that his eyes are puffy and red, also his hair was out of style which is not usual for him.

"Maddie...she's gone."

The boy standing front with tears pooling in his eyes and I run to hug him. " Who Malachi who's gone?" It suddenly hits me before he even has to say it. "Ana." He breathes out and I feel my heart hammering in my chest. "S-she's gone?" I stutter as he hugs me tighter for more comfort.

He nods against my hair. A familiar feeling of closeness that we both had before he cheated started to rise up. We stay there for another minute until I remember my boyfriend and best friends are still there. As we pull away his hazel eyes are filled with sadness yet he has a relaxed look as well.
