Not my type of guy

Chapter 13

"OH MY GOD, KAYLIE!" I yell out aware that I may be attracting a bit of attention. But I didnt care because I walked in on my best friend having sex with my guy best friend. Kaylie was a virgin and I knew for a fact when she sobers up, she'll regret her actions.

Her eyes widened and quickly covers up, turning a deep shade of red. "I-I, hi Maddie." She give a nervous smile throwing me off a bit. Here she was laying in bed naked with a thin sheet covering her body and an embarrassed Calvin trying his best not to look at me in the eye.

"Calvin! Do you not have a girlfriend?" I crossed my arms giving him a disappointed look. He actually blushed and ruffles his hair. While calvin is about to answer Kaylie discreetly hides and puts on her clothes. "Well me and her broke it off about a month ago."

For a minute I feel like yelling but mostly mostly because Kaylie was a virgin- suppose to be actually- and now she's not. A sickening feeling enters my stomach and I walk out and continue my search for Xavier.

Finally after a minute of searching I find him in an empty room with a bottle of vodka in his hand and another hand running through his hair.

"I thought I'd never find you." I sigh and take a seat beside him.

He doesn't look at me but continues with his drinking. I've had enough, there was no way I was letting him get drunk like this again. He always seemed to run to drugs and alcohol when a problem surfaces in his life. I take the bottle out of his hand and throw it into a corner.

"Stop this!" I yell and he looks at me finally, emotionless. Tears surface in my eyes and he looks a mess. I can't help but hate myself for causing this upon him.

I take his face in my hands and kneel in front of him, making him have to face me. There was no way in hell I was going to let the boy of my dreams (new dreams) hurt himself and me.

"Kaylie and Calvin are fucking by the way." Xavier drunkenly laughs and I smell the strong alcohol smell on his breath. Who knows how long he's been drinking like that. Quickly I close the door hopeful that no one will walk in on us.

Xavier gets up and starts kissing my neck, making me feel some ways but I shove those thoughts down remembering that he's drunk. He frowns and pouts making me want to just hug him and let him do whatever he feels like but no. Not now.

"Xavier stop!"

I frown and so does he. For a minute we just stare into eachother's eyes. "I think we should take a break Maddie." He sits on the bed almost falling off.

"You can't mean that Xavier. We basically just turned official." I can't believe my ears but I also can't ignore that fact that drunk people tend to tell the truth. Xavier stares at me blankly. "I mean it Madeline. You've just been such a...Female dog to me lately that I just think we might have made a mistake." He almost instantly starts laughing but calms down. 

While he's sitting there stupidly looking at the wall, I'm filling with sadness and anger. How could he do this to me?! I love him and he loves me too, how could he hurt me like this? He promised me. He promised...

I storm out the room and bump into Allen. "Wheres Zavier?" He cocks an eyebrow up. I tell him that Xavier his asshole of a friend and I are over because he asked for space. With that I leave and head outside. Quite frantically I call a cab and it takes me straight home. 

Once I reach home I change into my PJ's and go back to what I was doing before Xavier interrupted earlier. My clock reads 11:45 and I groan that I stayed that long with an ass wipe I now call my ex-boyfriend. The night is quite welcoming as I move over to my window seat with my things. Who knew one girl could make so many mistakes that ended up breaking her heart. Well. I am that girl. 

What a jerk. I think to myself and shove my face with popcorn.
