You woke up like normal, but then you realized your little girl was turning eight today.  You silently cheer, walking outside your room to see Clay up walking with Aaron. Aaron had a frown on his face.

"Luna lost her baby, Clay," the green knight said sadly.

Your boyfriend pulled Aaron close, hugging him.  "She's probably in a state of pain, huh?  (Y/N) did that when she lost the baby.  It'll get better, don't worry."

Aaron sighed, turning around and waved to you.  "Morning, sis."

You walk quickly up to him, hugging him.  "I'm so sorry, Aaron.  I heard, that's the worst possible thing."

Then he started laughing.  You and Clay just looked at each other with confusion.

"Luna didn't lose the baby.  I just wanted to see how you'd react."  The green knight pranced away happily, making you growl lightly.

Clay just grabbed your hand, leading you to his vehicle.  He climbed in, making you go all mother mode on him.

"Oh no, you don't Clay!  You aren't healed yet, so get out of that vehicle this instant, mister!"

The knight just chuckled, grabbing a small box out of the seat, climbing back down next to you.  He held it out to you, so you grab it and open it.  The necklace of the eagle.

"It's for Jade.  You said you were okay with her having my crest, but as a way for her to have your crest, I made them put it on a green chain."

Before you could respond, Macy came running to you guys.  "There's something you guys might want to see on the news."

You and Clay walk as fast as possible to the downtime room.  Aaron and Axl were already there, watching intently.  They had it paused on Alice Squires and Herb Herbertson.  As you and Clay sit down, Axl played it.

"On the topic of knights, did anyone know that Lance Richmond was killed?  There are rumors going around that one of the knights did it," Squires states, making Aaron look down.

Herb laughed.  "Now, Alice, that's not the only topic of knights we wanted to talk about.  Clay Moorington and (Y/N) Fox, sister of Aaron Fox, had a baby eight years ago today.  They named her Jade Lilly Moorington.  It's a wonder that the most respected knight had a child before marriage, especially when he's follows the knights code with all his heart."

"Right, and the Fox and Wolf families have gotten close, isn't that right Herb?"

He nodded, making you, Clay, and Aaron growl at the t.v.  "That's right.  Aaron Fox and Luna Wolf are dating and have a baby on the way, unless her bloodline messes up the pregnancy.  For those who don't know, the Wolf family has a history of miscarriages with unmarried women.  You'd think Aaron would want kids."

"It doesn't matter if I want kids!  I love her!" Aaron yelled at the television, hands balled into fists.

You grab his arm, trying to calm him down.

Alice chuckled.  "Yes, well, he wanted to get mixed up in that family.  Just as the Moorington wanted to get mixed up with the Fox family.  Luna Wolf was a bad choice, though.  I mean, honestly, who'd want to be with that mutt of the pack."

Aaron grabbed his shield and flew off, probably to find Luna.

"Now, back to Clay and (Y/N), how did Clay allow himself to do anything with the girl put into adoption.  The girl no one wanted.  Their kid is probably embarrassed to have her for a mother."

The green knight walked into camera view, grabbing both of the reporters and forcing them away.  "You're both liars!  Luna, I don't care if you can't have kids, I love you for you.  And (Y/N), people want you in their lives.  Mom wanted you, I wanted you, Clay needs you, Jade needs you.  As for Lance, he just, moved far away from us because he did something terrible to my sister.  Clay had a baby with her because he loves her."

He got back on his shield, flying off again.  The reporters came back into view.

"Well, that was odd," the bot said.

Herb nodded.  "Very."

You saw Axl turn the t.v. off, looking at everyone with a sad look.  Clay pulled you close as you started crying.

Jade came in, sitting next to you.  "Are you okay, Mom?"

You wipe your tears away, nodding.  "Yes I am, birthday girl.  Happy birthday."

Everyone told her happy birthday, then she noticed something.  "Where's Aaron?"

"He, uh, went out for a fly.  He needed to calm down, but he'll be back later," Clay said, rubbing your back.

He held out the small box to Jade.  She opened it, gasping.

"Happy birthday, sweetheart."

She cheered, asking you to put it on her.  You do, and she runs around excitedly.

Aaron came back soon after, holding a hover board.  "I'm back!"

Jade ran up to him, showing off her new necklace.

"I'm going to teach Jade how to hover board, hope that's okay.  See you later, bye!"  He took the young girl's hand, leading her outside.

You smile, snuggling into Clay, sighing.  "I can't believe she's eight."

"I can't believe I have a beautiful girl as my girlfriend."

You blush, kissing him.

Best life ever.
