MANIK:- Nandini please yaar , not again.How can you forget what happened last time when we went to Lonavala .

NANDINI:-But Manik please lets go naa, you know the baby will arrive in a few days and then I will be bound to stay at home only for a few weeks. Abhi le chalo naa..please. I promise I wont go anywhere without you.

MANIK:-[shifts his gaze towards the screen]Ohh our readers have arrived.Hello ..welcome guys.

NANDINI:-Hi guys...Thank God you people are here.Ab aap log samjhao naa Manik ko.I want to spend a day out with him and this stubborn fellow is denying me.

MANIK:-Nandini , lets just narrate them what happened last time when we went for a small vacation and let them decide whether you deserve another one or not.So guys here we go..

MANIK'S POV

"Mannu...Cabir" Nani spoke in a commanding tone as soon as we took our seats on the dining table "Aaj tum dono Nandni aur Navya ko ek din ke liye Lonavla le jao."

"What?" I spit out the papaya bite that I had just inserted in my mouth " I mean why.." I shifted my gaze towards nandini who was sitting beside me eating her breakfast quietly " Nandini , didnt we have a talk about this last night only. I am not taking you anywhere in this condition." My tone was firm as I stressed on the word 'ANYWHERE'

Nandini and I had argued for one whole hour on the previous night.She wanted to go for a day out and I wasnt willing to take her.And as fas as my thought goes , she must have approached nani to convince me.She knew I could not deny Nani , hardly did she know that in the case that concerned my princess , I hardly listened to anyone.

"ok nani , aapka hukm sar aankhon par" Cabir spoke dramatically ,trying to tease me.

"Look at him , he is so obidient " Nani being nani was highly impressed by Cabir " Aur tu..tu nahi manega naa meri baat" she showed her annoyance.

"aww Nani , you are my sweetheart . How can I turn you down" Cabir winked looking at me and I muttered curses under my breath to him.

"Nani please, itna emotional hone ki jarurat nahi hai. I told Nandini last night only that I wont be taking her anywhere in this condition" I spoke firmly.

"but why beta. She is pregnant..she isnt ill that you are shutting her down"Mom intervened.

"Exactly thats what I have been telling him. I am pregnant and not ill " Nandini made a grumpy face looking at me " I can go on a chhotu sa vacation"

"Mom please understand this. I am not taking my 20 weeks pregnant wife anywhere."My tone was unchangeable as I got up from my chair and slid my arms into my blazer "No means no"

"Cya in the evening " I kissed Nandini's head and said.But before I bade a good bye to everyone , I felt someone push me back into sitting position.

I looked up to see nani standing beside me .The fury in her eyes came as a shock to me.

"jaa kahan raha hai.Pehle ye parantha khatam kar" She spoke keeping a parantha in my plate " Aur uske baad pari ko ghumane le ja.."
