ARIANA POV:
"This house is amazing!" I yelled to Beverly over the loud music.
"I know!" She laughed.
With a drink in my hand, we both danced on the dance floor. I felt bad because Beverly couldn't have anything but that's because it's her turn to stay sober.
I watched as she started to dance more erotically and bumped into a guy.
"Sorry!" She quickly said before grabbing my hand and dragged me to the other side of the dance floor.
"Watch what you're doing, Bev!" I shook my head as her cheeks turned red in embarrassment.
I turned my head and saw elevators.
"Holy shit, this place has elevators!" I widened my eyes and so did Beverly then she started to dance again, causing me to laugh.
I then heard a 'ding' and saw an elevator open. I furrowed my eyebrows as I studied the guy who stood in it. He wore all black and had a large duffel bag hung over his shoulder. He then walked out of the elevator and I got a better look. Holy shit is that-
"Ariella?" He walked over to me.
"Jason? What are you doing here?"
"You have to get out of here. Right now. Did you come with anyone?" He started to rush. My face twisted in confusion.
"What? What are you talking about? I can come to parties all I want!"
"I don't care what party you go to! This isn't a party you should attend! You have to leave, NOW!" He yelled at me, more serious. I stared up at him in fear.
I nodded my head a little and turned back around. What is he doing here? Why does he have that big duffel bag? Why do we have to leave? My questions need to be answered.
"Hey Beverly," I got her attention, "You have to leave. Your mom called me and there's an emergency at your home. I'll just call an uber to get home, alright? Drive safe." I nodded my head as her eyes widened.
"Oh my God! Okay! Thank you!" She hugged me before quickly leaving.
I breathed out deeply. I'm going to get to the bottom of this whether he likes it or not.
JASON POV:
I can't believe just saw Ariella. God, it felt so good to see her again. She looked so good, too.
I walked outside and looked around for the car. I heard a car honk and saw Rico in the driver's seat so I started to walk towards the car.
"Jason!"
I stopped in my tracks, turned around, and saw Ariella.
"Jesus Christ, did you not hear me? You have to go!"
"Why, Jason? Why do I have to leave, huh? And why do you have the huge bag? What is going on?"
I groaned out in frustration.
"Jason, we have 20 seconds left!" I could hear Rico yell.
"For fucks sake." I fixed the duffel bag on my shoulder then picked up Ariella in my arms. She yelled at me to put her down but I ignored her. I ran over to the car as Rico opened the back door for me. I quickly placed Ariella in the car before getting in next with the duffel bag now in my lap.
Rico hopped back into the car, shifted the gear, and right to 100mph we went. Ariella screamed in pain once her head hit the side of the car. I pushed the bag off my lap and scooted over to her, bringing her close to me. I rubbed her head and mumbled a "sorry".
"What's happening? No! Don't touch me!" She pushed me away, "What is going on!?"
I looked at her. She was confused. Scared. And I didn't know if I should tell her the truth or not.
Her eyes continued to stare into mine, leaving me speechless. That's when a loud explosion sound was heard, causing her to scream again and duck down. I watched her in sorrow.
She looked behind us and so did I. Part of the house was on fire, the part where Serolf was at so that all of the other people in it could at least try and escape.
She switched her attention to me and shook her head. I watched as her eyes turned glossy.
"You did that, didn't you?"
I didn't know how to respond. I couldn't. I wanted to tell her about who I am. I really did, but not like this..
ARIANA POV:
I was shaking in fear.
"You're a monster! You just killed innocent people! What the hell is wrong with you?!"
"They weren't all innocent." He mumbled.
"You disgust me! What kind of person does that?! You are insane!"
"I am not insane!" He snapped at me. His jaw was clenched and his hands turned to fists.
I swallowed nervously. He yelled out angrily and punched the seat in the middle of us.
"You weren't supposed to find out like this!"
I stood still. He let out a sigh and calmed down a little. I glanced out the window. We were stopped. So I took my chance. I unlocked the door, hopped out the car and ran.
"Ariella!"
