The chunin exams?

A/n ok because zee has made me feel guilty about it I'm going to talk to my children

Touka: we are not your children
Me: yes you are come here *tries to hug touka, Honoro and sachiko *
Honoro: *looks confused * what? Why is coral calling me their child?
Sachiko: I don't know.
Touka: can you just get on with the chapter now?
Me: fine! I don't stall like some people
Honoro: true
Touka: could you stop hugging us now?
Me: no I can multi task.
Touka: I think I prefer The other one
Sachiko: I have to agree
Me: this is why I don't do these things.

Sachikos pov

That was dramatic. I looked at Honoro who looked slightly shocked and for whatever reason is looking around the crowd around us, as if he's looking for someone. But this is Honoro we will never know what is going through his mind.

As the crowd started to dissipate we were left alone with sensei. I looked away from him and grabbed Honoros arm. I dragged him to where Touka had run to. Neither of us said anything as he shrugged me off of him and started to look on the rooftops. I have a feeling that it would be better for me to talk to her but Honoro must think he's better to talk to her. I ducked into an alleyway splitting up with Honoro. He just nodded at me.

Touka was in the alleyway crying. It was strange to see. I always saw her as strong and looked up to her in a way. Now though she looked so. so.
so vulnerable.
I wasn't surprised to see her turn away from me when I sat next to her. She leant on me slightly and we sat there in silence with her crying and me trying to comfort her.

It was a while before either of us spoke. Touka calmed down enough to speak 'I always looked up to him. I thought that he would respect me as a daughter. I don't even know anymore.'

I smiled a little her 'I kinda get you. I know that you are a strong person. I kinda look up to you.'

She laughs a little 'Thanks. I know he made you come because of the chunin exams.'

I nod 'I think you should do it.'

She looked at me confused 'why? it'll just mean he can get rid of us quicker'

I laugh 'I mean to insult him. show him you can do it and you don't need him to succeed. Don't put your name as uchiha. put it as your mums name just to spite him'

She smiles 'That's not a bad idea.'

We sat there in silence for a while until Touka stood up. 'I should probably get a form and make sure honoro gets one instead of focusing on that friend of his'

'what?' I looked confused. Honoro didn't mention anyone.

'excuse me?' I didn't recognise the voice. Nor could I place the persons gender. I looked around to see a small... they weren't a boy but they weren't female either. It's hard to explain. The stranger had short, red hair. I don't mean ginger I mean Red. They were wearing baggy clothes and a bag around their shoulder. Their headband had a strange symbol on it. It reminded me of an hourglass with a box over it. They spoke again 'I hope I'm not interrupting anything'

Touka glared at him 'no nothing at all.' she was clearly being sarcastic but the stranger smiled.

'Good.' they turned to me 'I'm sorry about this. My name is Gao. I am non binary. I prefer they'

I smiled 'That's cool. I'm Sop- Sachiko. I'm female'

They smiled at me and held a hand out 'nice to meet you. Are you that person who was stuck in the other dimension?'

Wow that was a little blunt but I smiled and shook their hand 'Yeah. That's why we've never met.'

Touka nodded at them 'No we don't know where Honoro is Gao.'

They nodded 'Actually I wasn't looking for him. I saw him earlier.'

I frowned 'during?'

They nod again 'are you alright Touka?'

she nodded 'Yeah'

they smile 'are you going to compete?'

Touka nods smiling

They grin wider 'I wish you all luck. I should probably try to find Honoro. He may think I've died again'

I laugh 'See you then?'

They nod 'In the exams'

We hear hurried footsteps. A worried looking Honoro turns the corner. 'Touka!'

Touka smiles 'what is it now idiot?

Honoro looks relived and walks up to where she's sitting 'I'm glad'

Gao laughs 'dork'

Honoro looks around and practically tackles Gao in a hug. 'dude it's been ages. So much has happened!'

Gao stumbles backwards and leans against the wall for support 'Honoro. don't knock me over'

Honoro gets off of them 'Sorry. I got a little excited'

Touka laughs 'A little?' I laugh with her

Honoro smiles 'dad says he might teach me that' he thrusts his hand forward 'jutsu for the exam'

Gao looked impressed but Touka looked shocked 'But that's really advanced'

Honoro shrugged 'it'll be helpful for our team'

Touka nodded 'Chidori would be an advantage'

I stared at them 'what is Chidori?'

Honoro smiled 'it's my dads own technique. it's collecting your chakra inside your hand and converting it to electricity. it's rather difficult.'

I nod and smile 'dude that's amazing!'

Honoro nods 'We don't know for definite yet but it'd be cool.'

Gao smiles 'I should probably head off. My team must be missing me'

honoro replies quickly 'I haven't met your team yet so I'll go with you'

Honoro and gao turn around. Honoro waved 'bye~'

I waved back until they both disappeared behind the corner. Touka sighs. 'We should probably head off'

I nod 'I'm pretty sure dad'll understand if you wanna spent the night at my place'
Touka shakes her head 'I'm fine, I'll just avoid him until he apologises.'
I smile 'See that's the strong woman I know you as'
she laughs 'Yeah'
I laugh with her and we stand up. We walk out of the alley.

Gaos pov

Me and honoro walk through the streets. It was a comfortable silence we had fallen into. he nudged my arm 'hey Gao'
I nod'what is it?'
He smiles 'I was wondering' he takes his goggles off 'there's an inscription on the inside of these and I can't read it' he passes them to me. I look at them and see the inscription "hope you remember me honobro" I stare at it for a moment. I don't know what to tell him. It was obviously his brother. No one called him honobro not even me. I was desperately thinking of what to tell him. he'd never wear them again if he knew what the inscription said. Which is understandable, Ibuki had tried to... I don't want to think about it. 'it's just a brand logo' He looks relived
'I thought it was a message'
I laugh slightly forced 'It's not.'
he smiles 'so are we going to see your team or were you lying?'
I smile 'I'm showing you my team' I pause 'tomorrow'
he laughs 'trust you Gao'
'I should probably head off. My team is probably getting worried.'
honoro nods 'Good idea. Dads will probably want me home too'
I turn around 'bye!'
'See you!'
