This morning I woke up to my Mom calling me. Liyah was still sleep so I went to the living room.

"Hey Mama." I answered

"Hey baby. How's New York?"

"New York isn't that bad. It's cold but it's actually a beautiful place."

"I bet it is. How is Liyah and my grand babies?"

"They're fine. I think moving here will be good for the kids."

"I'm gonna miss seeing my grandkids."

"I know you will. I'm sure they miss you too. They've been doing nothing but playing around all day."

"They're kids. What do you expect?"

"A little something different atleast."

"Hold on TeQuan wants to talk to you."

"Hello?"

"Hey man. What you want?"

"Talk to my brother."

"Well talk."

"What you been up to big bro?"

"Working and unpacking."

"What's ya'll house look like?"

"It's big. You'd like it if you saw it."

"Where's Liyah?"

"Why you always worried bout Liyah?"

"Cause we all know she my girl." He laughed

"But she with me."

"She love me though. She only with you cause I'm not 18, give me 2 years." He laughed, "Chris, you think I could come down there?"

"That's up to Mama." I said

"Talk to her. She'll listen to you."

"She'll listen to me? What you been doing? You staying out of trouble?"

"What is trouble?"

"Yeah, you better stay out of trouble."

"Mama wanna talk to you." He got off the phone

"What that boy begging you to talk to me about?"My Mama asked

"He wanna come down here."

"What you say?"

"It's up to you Mama. I ain't Daddy."

"Well, considering he doesn't have one, I guess he's going up there with you."

TeQuan's Dad got killed in a drug deal. Why my Mama was messing with him? I don't even know. With TeQuan being 16 and me being the closest father figure he got, it'll have to do.

"Aight. I'll pay for him a flight."

"Okay. Mama's gotta go. Call me later."

"Aight Mama. Love you."

"Love you too baby. Bye Bye." She said before hanging up

"Who was that?" Liyah asked when I walked in the room

"My Mom."

"Kids still asleep?" She asked getting up

"Yeah. They still out. TeQuan is coming down for the summer."

"Okay. Your Mom cool with that?"

"We already discussed this."

"Okay. When's he coming?"

"Probably tomorrow. Buying him a ticket."

"Well, I'm going to make breakfast." She said leaving the room

I guess talking about things that have to do with our household doesn't exist anymore. I love Chris's little brother like my own but some things we should talk about before you just invite an extra 2 mouths to the table. And YES I mean 2.!!!! Those two eat for days and alot. I'm actually surprised CJ doesn't eat alot like his father. When I was finished with breakfast, Ciara and CJ were downstairs watching TV.

"Alright you two. Time to eat." I said putting their plates on the table

"Mommy.!! Mommy.!! I wanna watch TV." CJ said

"Come on CJ. We have to eat." Ciara said

"No. TV." He pouted

"CJ, I'm not gonna tell you again. Come eat." I said

"Get up and go eat for I get my belt." I heard Chris say

"Thanks." I mumbled to Chris giving him his plate

"You're welcome."

We all sat down and ate breakfast. Then Trey and Keri came over.

"Go play in your rooms." I said to the kids as us adults sat in the living room conversating

"Liyah, you know you have not yet gave me a tour of this house." Keri said

"What are you waiting for? Come on." I said

"2K?" I heard Chris ask

"Wow Liyah. Chris really outdone himself." Keri said as we were in my room

"He did." I smiled

"To be honest though, I thought you and Carmelo would be together." She said

That's the 2nd time in less than 24 hours that he has been brought up.

"I really don't wanna talk about him." I said

"Why? What happened?"

"My Dad." I sighed

"Girl explain." She said

After I explained everything to Keri, I was even more mad at my Dad.

"Your Daddy is foul, girl." Keri said

"Yeah. So I'm mad at the world and to top it off, girl I'm pregnant."

"What? Congratulations." She smiled, "If I tell you this, you gotta promise you're not gonna tell Trey."

"I promise." I said

"I'm pregnant too." She said cheesing hard

"Oh my God." I said

"You better hope we're having girls." She said

"You better. I already have me a little girl."

"She ain't your's really."

"So, she's my baby though." I smiled

Pregnant woman in the building. Just to let you readers know, since tomorrow is Aaliyah's 12th anniversary, I am going to be updating this story all day tomorrow. It's the least I can do for you fans and I am going to do it because I barely update but that's all gonna change soon.
