"Christopher?" Liyah sang from the bedroom.

"Yeah babe?" I asked walking in.

"Which looks better? This or this?" She asked referring to her outfit.

"Baby, they both look good. I'm hungry and ready to eat." I said.

"I'm sorry babe, but I can't leave the house looking like this." She said.

"It's my birthday woman come on." I laughed. "And we're late." I added.

"I'm ready." She said walking back in the room. She looked beautiful as always.

"Finally. Can we go now?" I asked.

"Yes Chris." She laughed. "My birthday boy." She grabbed my hand. From what I know now is we are going out to eat with Trey and Keri. The kids are at the Haughton's and yeah.

"Happy Birthday Chris." Keri hugged me.

"Thank you Keri."

"Happy Birthday youngin'." Trey said bro hugging me. "Yo can we go inside? You know the paparazzi's are on a nigga." Trey said.

"You should be use to it." Keri said.

"Can we not?" Trey asked.

"Come on guys. It's Chris' birthday." Liyah said. My baby always tryna find peace.

"See. Look what you did." Trey said. They definitely got into an argument at their house.

"If you just would've wore the tie Tremaine!" Keri shouted.

"I'm sorry I ain't wear the tie woman. Relax." He sighed.

"Uh, let's go inside?" I asked Liyah as she agreed. After a while, Trey and Keri soon were back to being cool. They so bi-polar. Dinner was great and I enjoyed it.

"You guys are a trip." I said to Trey and Keri's gift card.

"Keri wrote it." He said playing with his toothpick.

"Stop before you hurt yourself." Keri said. "Remember last time?" She questioned as he sighed.

"Keri, can you come with me to the bathroom?" Liyah asked her as they both got up.

"Wassup?" I questioned.

"She found out bout LaLa being pregnant." He whispered sighing loudly.

"Damn man. What you gonna do this time?"

"She think I'm cheating again when I'm not. I know this the 3rd time and all, but I changed."

"Wait. You telling me this happened 3 times?"

"Yeah."

"You gotta be one dumb nigga."

"What?" He asked twisting his face.

"I'm surprised she ain't left yo ass yet."

"Me too. I fucked up too many times." He said rubbing his head.

"Fix it man." I sat back in my chair.

"He got the stupid hoe pregnant." She said when we walked in the bathroom.

"Calm down K." I said. "Don't hurt the baby." I said rubbing her back.

"I just don't see why I put up with this. I give him my all and this is how I get repaid?" She said. "This is the 3rd time he done messed around, he just happened to pick the right time to impregnate her too." She said as her eyes started to water up.

"Trey cheated on you 3 times?" I questioned as she nodded her head yeah. "That bastard. What has gotten into him?" I questioned mostly myself.

"Fame and money." Keri simply said. Trey was never the type to change from money though, so to hear that come from Keri kinda shocked me. Their marriage was turning into a movie script already.

After the whole convo with Keri, me and Chris decided it would be best to just call it a night. With Trey and Keri's drama, all it does is make the time we spend with each other awkward and a little stressful.

"They have issues." Chris said untying his shoes sitting in the chair in our room. "I wanted to enjoy the night." He said.

"I know. I'm sorry it got ruined in a way."

"They can't find other times to argue and fight?" Chris asked unbuttoning his shirt. "Trey is one dumb brotha." Chris said.

"I hate to admit it." I agreed. It made me feel bad because this wasn't the Trey that I met all the way back in high school.

"Just don't see how people can't be faithful." He said walking to the bathroom.

"Me either." I sighed as I got in bed. I heard Chris using the bathroom and then coming into the room. "You don't ever have to worry about that with me." He said kissing my forehead, then my nose, and finally my lips. "Goodnight. Love you."

"Love you too." I said before he cut out the light.
