"So, do we wanna know the sex of the baby?"

"No." Me and Chris both said. We decided on the sex of the baby to be a surprise. He was right, we already have a girl and we have a boy, so why not let this one surprise us.

"Okay, well everything looks good. Do you need a refill on your meds?"

"No, that won't be necessary." I said.

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to call." The Doctor said before walking out the room.

"I think that nigga got a crush on you." Chris said after he left.

"Why you say that?"

"Just by the way he was looking at you." He said. "He better not be delivering our child. Ain't no nigga going between them legs, except me."

"Oh my God Chris." I laughed. "My baby jealous?"

"Of what? I got you woman. You already mine and you gonna stay mine." He said pulling me into a kiss. I pulled away as my phone started ringing. It was my Mother calling.

"Hello?"

"Hey baby. We're having a family dinner tonight. Bring Chris and the kids over."

"Okay Mom. I'll see you later." I said as I hung up.

"What was that about?" Chris asked wrapping his arm around me.

"My Mother said there is a family dinner tonight."

"We gotta go through this again?" Chris asked.

"Relax babe. Everything will be fine."

"Better too."

Family Dinner

So we walk into my parent's house and she Rashad with some girl, Trey and Keri with their kids, my cousin Jomo, my Uncle Barry and the last people I expected to see, Carmelo and LaLa.

"Why are they here?" Chris asked as Keri eyeballed me. Carmelo walked over to us and asked if he could speak with both of us in private.

"I just wanted to apologize for my actions the other night. Chris, I ain't mean for none of that to go down like that brother. It just happened and Liyah I just apologize because I disrespected you by invading your personal space."

"I guess we can accept your apology." Chris said. I was shocked that he said that considering how angry Chris was after dinner last week.

"Hey LiLi." Rashad came up and hugged me and bro hugged Chris.

"Hey Shad Shad." I smiled. "Who is that girl?"

"That's my girlfriend Monica. Met her when I was doing some photography for my new project coming up." He said. I wouldn't necessarily say that Rashad is a big time photographer, but he has some big name people wanting his services. He's been talking about it for so long and now he's finally there.

"Babe, you thirsty?" I asked Chris.

"Yeah." He said. We were all sitting in the living room and things were awkward because Carmelo kept looking at me while LaLa kept looking at Trey, while Keri was staring off in the direction of Carmelo and LaLa and then Rashad seemed to not be able to keep his eyes off of Keri. I guess his girlfriend Monica noticed because she said something.

"Why don't you talk to her then?" She yelled out.

"What?" Rashad questioned.

"You've been staring at her this whole time. She must be more interesting than me." She said as Trey and Keri looked her way. Carmelo then turned his attention to Keri.
