"Mr. Brown, your 2:30 is here." Said Veronica, my assistant

"Send them in." I said as I took off my jacket and pulled out the file I needed. They walked in and I was surprised to see Trey in the room.

"What's up Trey? Keri giving you a rough time again?" I laughed

"Christopher, this is the man I was telling you about." Alani said

"Excuse me?" I said

"Don't tell Liyah about this." He said

"What the hell? You cheating on Keri with Melo's wife?" I turned and looked out the window, "I'm always caught up in the drama." I shook my head

"It wasn't suppose to go down like  that." He said

"What do you mean Tremaine? It went down the exact way it did."

"How can you stare Melo in the eyes and do the things you do to me?"

"Love is the perfect word."

"Well you loving the wrong person. I may be cheating on my wife but I ain't leaving her or my kids." Trey said as he flopped down

"Well, you got one on the way."

"The hell I do. That's Mel's baby. We ain't fucked in 3 months and you ain't no 3 months pregnant."

"Quiet down." I turned around, "Both of you listen." I walked around my desk, "You both are guilty of a sin that can damage your lives forever. Think about your spouses. Trey, how long you and Keri been together? High school right? La La how long you and Melo been together? Since he came to the league right? You both have years with them. Stop this before it's too late. Alani, I normally wouldn't say this, but if the baby is Trey's, get rid of it." I sighed

"You not gon let Liyah know about this, right?" Trey asked

"I don't bring work into my house." I sighed

"Thanks Chris, I owe you."

Aaliyah

"Mommy!! Mommy!! Ice cream." CJ shouted

"TeQuan, can you go get them ice cream?" I asked

"Sure, you want anything?"

"I'm fine." I said

"Okay, Liyah." He said running off

"What a surprise meeting you here." A familiar voice said behind me as I rolled my eyes

"What do you want Carmelo?"

"I take my son here every Tuesdays and Thursdays after school. What you mean?" He sat down beside me

"Always popping up on me." I said

"Like old times." He laughed, "Good times."

"Can't lie. We did have a lot of fun when we were together." I admitted

"It was a lot of things. You were my first." He said

"I was your first?"

"First love. You stuck out the most with all them girls. With you I was lucky." He said

"That's cause I carried myself better than them."

"Sexy but classy." He said

The whole time there, me and Melo conversated. Then I took the kids home, cooked dinner and made them get ready for bed. A way to end the day.
