Camila's POV:
I walked up to Lauren, smiling as I gave her a hug.
"Hey Lolo"
"Hey Camzi"
She pulls away from the hug, shoving her hands into her pockets "ready to go?"
I nod wrapping an arm around hers. She looks at me and smiles before walking towards the campus since the park was only 5 minutes away.
"How was your day Camz?"
I shrug, keeping up with her walking pace "it was okay. Yours?"
Lauren looks down and shrugs too "mine was okay too"
We stay silent as we walk through the park and onto the campus. We go through the building the party is held at, seeing random college kids walking about with beer bottles in their hands.
Me and Lolo walk through the door of the pent house, taking in the scene of people dancing closely together.
We noticed the dj in the corner, playing the loud, upbeat music. The room was getting kind of foggy because of the students that were smoking on the other side of the room
"Im going get us some drinks. You coming?" I look at Lolo, listening as she shouts over the music. I shake my head
"No, I'll go look for Normani" she nods her head and heads to the kitchen.
I look around the room, seeing people I don't know. Then I finally recognize Normani sitting on a boys lap
"Hey Normani!" I yell over the music.
"Hey...Camila right?!" She yells back and I nod. She smiles and gets off of the boy she was sitting on and hugs me
"Where's Lauren?"
I go to answer, but the familiar voice answers before I can
"I'm right here" Laur shouts
I take the beer she hands me and smiles at her gratefully before taking a sip of the drink
"Are the other girls coming?!" Lauren asked
Normani noded "yea, Ally and Dinah are around here somewhere!"
Lauren takes a sip of her drink while looking around "well, I'll look around with Camz so I cant introduce them!" Normani nods then goes back to the boy she was with before, taking her seat on his lap again
"Come on!" I look at Lauren and she smiles at me, taking my hand and leading us towards the dance floor where the sweaty bodies of horny, drunk, and high college kids are all dancing
Lauren pulls me in front of her, her hands on my waist, as we make it through the crowd.
My nose starts to burn from all the smoke
"I see Dinah!" Lauren yells into my ear
I nod and she guides me to the kitchen where this tall blonde stood
"Hey D" Lauren says, since the noise of the music died down
Dinah turns around and squels
"Laur!" Lauren smiles and hugs the blonde, having Dinah return it
"I missed you Lo! Where've you been I haven't seen yo-oh? Who's this?" Dinah turns her attention away from Lauren and to me.
"This is Camila. Camz this is my best friend Dinah" I smile shyly as i stick my hand out
"Nice to meet you Dinah" Dinah looks at my hand like it's a foreign object then shales her head
"I don't do handshakes"
"Oh" I slowly pull my hand away, putting it back at my side
"I do hugs!" She engolfs me in a bone crushing hug that has me gaspi g for are, but laughing at the same time
"DJ, I think you're killing her" Lauren laughs from the side of us
Dinah lets me go and I let out a sigh of relief
"Sorry Camila" Dinah laughs
I smile and straighten out my clothes
"So, where's Ally?" Lauren asks while drinking the rest of her beer, throwing the bottle away
"She was on the dance floor a minute ago. She's pretty drunk right now so I dont know where she could be"
"We'll find her sooner or-"
There was a big crash coming from the living room and a crowd forming around a table, shouting things I couldn't comprehend
Me, Lauren, and Dinah all make it through the crowd to see a girl standing on the table.
She was short, wearing a band t-shirt with a shirt that reaches her midthigh
"Oh no" I hear Lauren and Dinah say
"What? Who is that?" My question gets answered when Lauren starts to shout "Ally! Get off the table right now! We can't have this happening again!"
I look at the two amused as Lauren tries to get Ally off the table and Ally protesting.
"Well, that's our Ally for you. Happy and nice as can be once sober, but once she's drunk, she's a party animal.
