Chapter 7:

"Iah is that you." My grandmother says.

"Yea grams, it's me." I say putting my keys down on the table and walking to where she was.

"Did you find her." She says.

"Nope." I say.

"It's important you find her." She says.

"I know."

"She can be in trouble." She says.

"I know."

"She's your sister." She says.

"I know grams." I say getting annoyed.

"I'm just saying, we don't have that much time. We're already behind by a month." She says.

"I understand grams," I say sitting down "but you putting this much pressure on me isn't helping anything it's only making me feel overwhelmed."

"Well I'm sorry." She says.

"It's okay grams. You know I love you." I say kissing her forehead.

"Love you to." She says kissing my cheek.

Athena POV:

"Hey Athena." Lucas says.

"Hey." I say.

"Where were you at lunch yesterday, I couldn't find you." Lucas says.

"Oh, I was with Elliot and his friends." I say.

"Elliot? Really?" He says.

"Yea, why did you say it like that." I say.

"Because, he doesn't seem like your type." He says.

My type.

"He isn't, but he is my best friends brother who is pretty cool." I say.

"So your not attracted to him." He says.

"No." I say.

"Oh." He says.

"You sound disappointed." I say.

"Do I." He says.

"Very." I say.

"Well I'm not." He says.

"So your happy about it." I say.

"No, I I don't care." He says and I laugh.

"Okay." I say in a mocking voice.

"Whatever, what are you doing after school." He says and I sigh.

"Cheerleading tryouts." I say.

"Your a cheerleader?" He asks.

"Not yet, I tried out last year and it didn't go so well." I say.

"What happened?" He asks.

"Let's just say I can't dance or flip or catch people." I say.

"Then why are you trying out this year?" He asks.

"Being positive." I say.

"Okay?" He questions.

"The cheer tryouts are also the same time as the football tryouts so there will be about fourty boys that will see me fall on my ass." I say.

"I could come for support." He says.
