Chapter 12:
"Athena we're here." Ella says waking me up.
"We are?" I ask.
"Yea." She says as I look out the window.
"I don't think I'm ready to confront them." I say.
"Your gonna have to do it eventually." She says.
"I know, I just don't want to ask them today." I say.
"You wanna come over to my place and go to school from there?" She asks.
"Uh, yea I'll text them and I'll let them know that I'm at your place." I say as she starts the car.
Elliot POV:
"Alpha Nate, I understand that you want Isa-Athena in your pack but she already has a pack." Iah says.
"She has a pack that was taken over by goddess knows who and I doubt that person will give up the pack easily or even let her into the pack, she'll always be a threat if he does." He says.
"If that happens she could always be in my pack. I mean it is our fathers pack." Iah says.
"With all do respect Alpha Iah, I think she will do better in my pack." Alpha Nate says.
"Well it's a good thing I don't care what you think." Iah says and Alpha Nate growls at him causing him to growl back.
"Okay, we can't afford to cause a war between packs right now, we have bigger things to worry about, you guys don't even know if she'll want to be in a pack." I say.
"Fine." Iah says still glaring at Alpha Nate.
"We will finish this conversation later." Alpha Nate says.
"This conversation is done, she isn't joining your pack. You just want her in your pack because you want you packs rank to be higher but that's not gonna happen." Iah says.
Athena POV:
For the past few weeks I've been staying at Ella's house. I'm to scared to go home. If I go home I won't be able to avoid this anymore.
I go to my house when I know they aren't there. And I let them know over text that I would be staying at Ella's for a while and they said it was okay.
It's not like they haven't let me do this before. I stayed Ella's house for two months before.
I've been sitting in the shower with the water running over my head for what feels like forever.
There's just alot going on with me. I feel like I think better in the shower. Ever since I was younger I would feel more relaxed in the shower.
"Athena." I hear Ella say knocking on the door but I don't respond. "Athena." she says again and I get out the shower wrap a towel around me then open the bathroom door.
"We need to get to school." She says and I nod my head walking past her into the room to get dressed.
Lucas POV:
"Lucas, get over here now!" My dad yells scaring the shit out of me.
"Yes father." I say walking into his office.
"I left you in charge of doing one simple thing and you couldn't do it." He says and I gave him a confused face.
"I don't understand what you mean." I say.
"I told you to find Isabella before anyone else does and bring her to our side." He says.
"And that's what I'm trying to do." I say. What is he going on about.
