Chapter 21:
"Hey Athena." Lucas says.
"Hey Luke." I say.
"I haven't seen you around in a couple of days, where have you been." He says.
"You know just around, on Monday I was with Ella, Tuesday with my brother, Wednesday with Mason, Thursday I hung out with Alexander and his friends, Friday I did Clear training with Keith and Kalissa, so on a so forth yatta yatta yatta." I say.
"Clear training?" He asks.
"Oh right I didn't tell you." I say.
"Tell me what?" He asks.
"You've heard stories about The Clear right?" I ask.
"Yea." He says.
"Well it turns out it's all true and they sent Kalissa and Keith to help me out with my chosen one duties." I say.
"Oh cool." He says.
"You know what else." I say.
"What." He says.
"It also turns out that my grandfather on my fathers side was part of The Clear so that means that Iah and I are half Clear, ha that sounds funny." I say.
"Are you okay, you seem very chipper today?" He asks.
"Yea I'm fine. I've actually been feeling this way for the past few days. It feels like I drank alot of coffee and I have so much energy. I feel like I'm on a floating cloud." I say.
"Are you high?" He asks.
"No Luke I'm not high, I'm just happy." I say.
"Okay." He says with a small smile on his face.
"We could hang out tomorrow- wait no I have my first official date with Mason tomorrow. We could hang out on Wednesday." I say.
"Your dating Mason." He says.
"Yea." I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"Because I want to." I say.
"Right." He mumbles.
"But I'll see you later I have cheer practice." I say.
"Why can't we hang out today." He says.
"Because Iah, Tim, Mason, Ella, Elliot, Kalissa, Keith and I are going somewhere. I don't know where because they wouldn't tell me but yea, sorry." I say.
"Alright bye." He says.
"Bye." I say smiling at him.

"Where are we going." I say getting in the van.
"To meet with the elders." Iah says.
"The elders?" I ask.
"Yea, they are the group of wolves that are in charge in case the the royal family can't be reached." Ella says.
"Oh." Is all I say.
Or in case their all thought to be kill by psychopathic murderous humans.
"Let's go." Keith says starting the car.

"We are very capable of helping her out, it doesn't matter how old we are." Mason says.
