Chapter 25

Iah's POV:

Chapter 25:

"Athena, what are you doing." I ask her walking into the room as I see her wipe tears off her face.

"I'm gonna kill him." She says opening a dresser draw and taking out a gun.

"Where did you get that from?" I ask her.

"It doesn't matter." She says checking to see if it's loaded and closing it back.

"Athena, you can't do this." I say.

"Yes I can, and I will with or without your help." She says picking a black duffle bag up off of her bed then walking past me.

"Athena wait." I say and she stops turning towards me.

"He has them and it's all my fault. I was to overwhelmed with the fact that they wouldn't let me in after I left them that I just stopped visiting, then I stopped calling and eventually I stopped texting." She says.

"I know Athena but-"

"No you don't, I already had to learn the fact that my biological parents where murdered and I'm not gonna sit back and watch the same thing happen to the ones that raised me." She says turning to walk again but I stop her.

"Athena wait." I say.

"What Iah." She says looking at me.

"I'm gonna call the others, where coming with you." I say taking my phone out.

I wake up to the sound off things dropping downstairs. What the hell.

I get out of bed and go towards the steps to see Athena and four other people coming up the steps with bed frames and dressers and other things.

"Oh, sorry did we wake you." Some guy says to me.

"Uh, kinda. Who are you?" I ask.

"Alexander." He says smiling at me and putting his hand out for me to shake.

"Iah." I say shaking his hand and I catch him starring at my chest. I look down to see that I have no shirt on.

"Zander, my brother is straight, and off limits." Athena says coming up the steps with three boxes. "You wanna help out?"

"Uh, sure why are you getting in so late?" I ask taking two boxes away from her.

"We decided to hang out after we got my stuff and lost track of time." I say.

"Okay, I've heared of Alexander before, but who are they?" I ask.

"That's Leo, Eric, Francis." She says and I nod my head. "When was the last time you talked to your parents?"

"That question came out of the blue, I think I texted them a few weeks ago why?" She asks.

"No reason, I just think you should visit them." He says.

"Why, what's wrong?" She asks putting down a box.

"Nothing, I just think that you really want to but are scared to because how you left things off the last time you talked. But if you don't you'll live to regret it." I say.

"Uh, okay. I'll go visit them sometime this month." She says.

"How about next week." I say.

"I don't know." She says.

"I'll go with you if you want." I say.

"Yea, okay. Next week is a deal." She says and I nod my head walking out of the room.

Athena's POV:

"I change my mind I don't want to do this." I say trying to drive back out of the driveway but Iah grabs the wheel.

"Your doing this, just relax and breath." Iah says and I do what he says.

"I'm ready." I say.

"Okay, let's go." Iah says getting out of the car and I follow him.

"What if there not home." I say.

"They are, I hear their heart beats." He says looking alittle confused.

"What if they pretend to not be home." I say.

"They aren't gonna do that." He says sniffing the air.

"What is it?" I ask.

"I hear three heart beats but only smell two people." He says.

"Maybe your senses are acting up again, I mean the curse still hasn't been broken." I say.

"Maybe." He says as we get to the front door.

"Here goes nothing." I say knocking on the door.

"Coming." I hear my father say and I turn to Iah.

"This was seriously a bad idea." I say about to walk away but Iah grabs me and turns me back to the door as it opened.

"Athena." My father says.

"Hi." I say and he pulls me into a hug.

"And you thought they wouldn't want to see you." Iah says.

"You thought that, of couse we wanted to see you. We've missed you so much. Your mother hasn't stopped worrying and in her condition-"

"What condition?" I ask worried and he smiles at me.

"Come in and see for yourself." He says and I nod my head.

"Hi Mr.Walsh." Iah says.

"Hi Iah, I'm assuming that something you did or said brought our beautiful daughter back into our lives." My father says.

"She just needed alittle push." Iah says.

"Well I'm forever grateful." He says and Iah nods his head.

"Who was at the door Eric." I hear my mother say wobbling out of the livingroom with a big belly. "Athena."

"Mom." I say hugging her tightly but not to tight being that she's pregnant and everything.

"I missed you so much." She says as tears begin to stream down her face.

"I missed you too." I say, my eyes beginning to water up also.

"I thought I would never see you again." She says.

"I was afraid you wouldn't want too." I say with a small laugh.

"Well that's a load of crap." She says causing me to laugh.

"When did this happen." I say looking down at her stomach with a smile.

"Like a month after you left. It's a miracle because ever since I was in college the doctors told me I wouldn't be able to have kids, but then this happened." She says laughing and whipping her tears and I laugh too.

"Your gonna be a big sister Athena." She says and I laugh again as I tears actually begin to stream down my face.

"You guys are gonna make me cry." Iah says causing us to laugh.

"Do you want to feel him kick?"She asks Iah.

"Uh." Iah says looking caught off guard.

"Come on." She says motioning him over towards us and he awkwardly walks over causing me to laugh again.

"Give her your hand." I say to him and he puts his hand out then she grabs it and puts it on her stomach.

"Oh, I felt it." Iah says with a huge smile on his face and I laugh again.

"Do you guys want to stay over for dinner, your mom made Lasagna." My dad says.

"Uh, sure." I say looking at Iah.

"Why not." Iah says then we walk into the kitchen.
