The white continues to My green dress doesn't hide this problem. Before anyone really notices I slip into the small room filled with potions and a crystal ball. I quickly find their potion book, trying to know what they have and what these do.

"Elphaba, are you alright?" A familiar male voice asks. I quickly reach for the potions I need that are in front of me so Fiyero doesn't get a clear view of my arms.

"I'm fine! I just have to find something to......change the color of my dress! As you know, I don't really like the color green!" I quickly make something up.

My neck starts to itch and I have to scratch it. I have everything I need to maybe stop what ever this is. I can stop the spreading. I remember curing a snakebite of one of the girls in our building in college with something like what I have now.

But I have no time to use it, because my hands stiffen up and the bottles drop out of my hands, "No! I-I AHHH." My heart. It has stopped beating and I scream. Fiyero rushes toward me as I collapse to the floor, I rip at my dress trying to get it off. I can't breathe.

"Elphaba!" Glinda runs in as my vision goes black.

After Glinda and Fiyero go into the other room with Elphaba, a man enters the Wizard's chamber frantically, "M'am, where is-" he gets cut off my Glinda screaming my best friend's name. The man runs in before I do. Fiyero is holding Elphaba's hand and she's lying on the ground. Her eyes look open, but they're lifeless.
"Elphaba! No!" The man rushes by everyone and kneels by Elphie's side. My mind can't comprehend what is happening.

I hear a small voice come from my Elphie, "Samuel." Everything goes quiet.

"I went looking for my brother in his room when I got home and he was just like this," He sounds full of sorrow. He really loves Elphaba.
"The first one was my fault but this! This is out of control!" I turn my head to see Evanora. But I'm more concerned with Elphaba. Glinda stands up and we switch places so she can talk to Evanora.

"I told you to leave and never return." Glinda seems confused at Evanora's appearance but stays composed.

"I had to see what the Jester had done to my sister!" Evanora exclaims. I finally look at Elphie, just listening to their conversation.

My best friend is being held by a man that I don't know, and have never seen before. I should be holding her.

"You've seen her. What do you actually want?" Glinda tries to be as respectful as possible. Evanora moves closer. "Evanora, leave you're not needed here."

"But I want to help! I want to save our sister! I never knew he would go after her." She holds Glinda's shoulders, "I know you'll never forgive me, but let me do this one thing for our family. I'll swap places with her so she is alive and I'm......" she stops before saying the last word. Glinda pulls her into a hug.

Evanora pulls away and grabs some small vials and she then pours them into a small cauldron before grabbing a pinch of red powder and sprinkling it over Elphie. She then takes a pinch and puts it into the cauldron. Black smoke fills the room as I hear Evanora hit the ground.

When the smoke clears, Elphaba is lying where her sister used to be and the other is gone. My mind can't seem to comprehend what has happened, I've gone completely numb.

I squeeze my eyes shut and try to think about what I just saw.

"Let's get her to her room." Glinda suggests. The man picks the new Elphaba up and follows Glinda as she walks away away. I'm pretty sure I saw something that no one else did. But I'm not sure exactly what I saw.

I sit down on the ground, my head spinning. I just want my Elphaba and I want to hold her, and never let go.

I just have a bad feeling about this. The woman who tried to kill Elphie before now wants to save her. That doesn't make any sense. Then again it was the other way around with the wizard.

"Are you alright Galinda?" Theodora asks, startling me out of my thoughts. I look at her, not sure if I know myself.

"I think so. I...I lost my best friend because of my selfishness back in our Oz. I can't help but think that this is my fault."

"This couldn't possibly be your fault. You weren't with her all day." Theodora helps me up. I hug her and she's shocked.

"Maybe I should've been with her.....and none of this would've happened." I shiver, scared. "I think Evanora lied...." I finally admit my worries but all I'm met with is silence. I sigh and leave the room. If she switched bodies, why would the other one disappear.

"What are you thinking about?" Glinda asks, coming into The Wizard's chamber.

"I don't trust Evanora....she hurt Elphie before. Why would she help her now?" I look into Glinda's eyes. She is mirroring the same worry that I have.

"I understand. I'm going to be keeping a close eye on her." Glinda pulls me into a loving hug. Normally I would've pushed her away, but need this.

"We'll be able to watch her closely at the ball Samuel's family is hosting for his birthday, so at least today will be reasonably easy." She smiles a little and pulls away. Glinda looks into my eyes for a moment before kissing my head.

"If you see anything you don't like, you come and immediately tell me, okay?" She smiles a little before leading me back upstairs.

"Are you sure you want her to go to the ball? If it's really her... she may want to just rest after what happened." I suggest. Glinda nods but I can tell that she's thinking.

"But she also might want to spend most of her time with Samuel. It is his birthday." She takes me to my room and we sit down.

"I can't believe I just found her and I've lost her again. I always find a way to screw things up..." I say this, sighing and look out the window. The city is being decorated for the ball tonight, banners and flags everywhere.

"I just hope that Evanora was telling the truth. That she wasn't being selfish....Elphaba is our sister after all......" Glinda sighs. "But I know that could never happen."
