My body screams with pain as my vision goes black.

"Elphie," a nasally singsong voice pulls me from my sleep. I'm laying on something hard and cold, "Elphie."

"What?" I don't realize who I'm talking to until my eyes adjust. Blonde, white. My eyes finally see a face, "Galinda!" I attack her with hug.

"It's good to see me isn't it?" Galinda says hugging me back. I stumble to get up, pain coursing through my bloodstream. Fiyero? Where are you? I look around the room. He's not here. Theodora is still asleep on the bed. Her skin is slightly darker than my degreenified skin. Which is now green from rage.

I realize that Galinda is shivering from the cold of the room. A window is open, making the snow blow in. I take my cloak and put it around Galinda's shoulders, "If you were looking for Fiyero, he fell asleep in the other side of the bed," Galinda states. I close the window. For a couple ticks we are staring into each other's eyes. It's good to see her again I feel like its been forever.

"It's good seeing you green," Galinda says as a smile spreads across her face, "What happen to the left side of your face? It's greener and darker from the other side. It was purple and blue when you weren't green," Galinda seems genuinely worried about me.

"Oh, that? It's nothing. The Wizard of this Oz and I got in a little disagreement," I look at Galinda then down at the floor, "And I lost my temper."

"Now that I'm here we can work in that." She pauses and thinks, "How did you get ungreenified?" Galinda asks me. That is a question I don't have the answer for.

"Galinda," I start looking very sincere, "I honestly have no clue. Nessa would probably say something about my sins being washed away. (Blah blah blah)I didn't remember anything when I first got here. I actually touched water, Galinda! The green came off my skin. I took a shower and it didn't burn me. It was once I started to remember things that I actually started to become myself," I leave out the part about me having the power to reach into people's bodies. We can talk about it later.

"That must have been amazing for you," Galinda looks very interested. I nod before looking over at Theodora. She actually looks normal as she wakes up, finally.

"Theodora?" I say as her eyelids flutter open, "Oh thank goodness! I though you'd never wake!" Galinda has never heard me say the words "Thank" and "Goodness" together.

"Who are you?" Theodora sits up on her elbows looking at me cautiously, "I don't think I've seen you in Oz before," I give her my hand to help her off the bed but she refuses, getting up by herself.

"My name is Elphaba. That's Galinda, with a Ga. And the scarecrow over there is-" I get cut off by Theodora.

"That's Fiyero. How do you know him?" Theodora says, surprising me.

"He is my boyfriend and Galinda's best friend," I respond. Theodora's eyes drift to the mirror, where the Grimmerie is sitting on the other side. How did Galinda get here? Another thing to talk about later.

Galinda goes to the mirror and grabs the Grimmerie, "Will you come with my friends and I to the Emerald City? I don't know how to get there from here," This is a lie but she seems to believe it.

"I will take you but I'm not going in the city. I don't want to see anyone," Theodora looks out the window. I reach to put my hand on her shoulder, but stop, letting my hand drop to my side. I have better things to do than comfort people. I can't even comfort myself.

"Yero!" I lay sideways on the bed lean over to the straw-man, "Fiyero, you need to wake up," He stirs then sits up. How do scarecrows sleep? Well, maybe they get caught in their thoughts and keep thinking, oblivious to everything else. I don't know. I've never seen a live scarecrow before, "Do you know where my broom is?" Fiyero shakes his head. He's still in a daze from 'sleeping'.

"Are you still flying around on that old thing?" Galinda asks repeating what she said the day my sister was killed.

"Are we really going to have this saddening conversation again?" I stand up, "Yes! I do ride my broom! Why do you have such a problem with it?" I lost my temper once again. I flatten my hand so the palm is facing the ground. I learned how to summon my broom a couple days after I got it.

In just a tick my broom hits the outside of the door with a loud bang, making everyone in the room jump(But me of course), "What was that?" Theodora and Galinda say almost in unison. I smirk walking over to the door, unlocking it, and opening the door.

My broom hovering in my reach so I grab it and slam the door and lock it again, "When did you acquire that talent?" Galinda is looking at me starstruck.

"When did you start using words like 'acquire'?" I say as my smirk spreads to a full smile but I quickly hide it. Galinda gives me a sad look, "What?"

"Its been two- never mind!" She stops and redirects her thoughts, "So, how are you going to get us out of here?" Galinda faces me with a very serious face. I think for a couple ticks then hear something at the window. It's Christery again. He hops into my arms after passing Theodora.

"Where'd you go Christery?" I ask him.

"Where, when, we, wheel," he starts saying words that start with Wh. I need to keep teaching him more words. I think its nonsense when he starts saying words like "Glue" with Gl. But, No. Glinda! My little Chistery went to get help.
