"Galinda! Galinda!" Someone is yelling my name. I open my eyes and see Fiyero. He doesn't see me. My vision is blue. The ice had fully incased me. Probably look like an ice sculpture of myself. That would be really cool to see.

Trying to yell does nothing. Only a small sound comes out, but I need to keep trying.

"Fiyero!" I yell. It probably didn't sound like it but I tried. My 'yell' gets Fiyero's attention, he looks in my direction.

"I found her!" Fiyero announces to the group behind him. Theodora comes over with a ball of fire in her hand, would protest if I could but I'm (obviously) not able to speak. My feet get warm but I can't feel any air on them.

"It's not working!" Theodora says. She gets frustrated as she tries even harder.

"Calm down, Theodora," Glinda says softly, "Relax and try again," From behind the group I see Chistery digging in the rubble of the house Elphie is under. Theodora uses he power again and this time it does work.

I feel my feet start to get loose as she works her way up. Fiyero starts to help Chistery in digging through the debris. In mere ticks, I'm thawed out.

"Thank you," I say as Glinda helps me up off the ground. Fiyero pulls Elphie from the wreckage. Running to her, I realize my friend is not green, I'm not complaining, but I like seeing her green.

Glinda rushes to Elphaba's side faster than a clock tick. Elphie is all cut up from the china that had fallen on her. But she's breathing, which is plus.

"Elphie!" I squeal with joy and put a smile on Elphaba's face. She attempts to sit up but fails, "Don't strain yourself."

"I'm fine," Elphie tries to sit up once more and succeeds, with help from Glinda.

"Stop leaving me!" I say grabbing her hand and holding it with both of mine. she smiles as we help her up, thinking about what she's going to say.

"That would require me to stop losing my temper and," she laughs, "We both know that's not going to happen."

"It could, after you get used to your power and learn how to harness your anger," Glinda says. She is so down to earth. I like it.

"She's right," I state. Elphie doesn't seem to happy with me for agreeing.

"Let's just all prove me wrong!" Elphie says venomously. She composes herself, "Shall we?" Pointing to the emerald city, she gestures for us to start walking.

"I'm sorry Elphie," I say, walking next to her.

"Whatever."

My best friend ignores me and walks faster.
