I kiss My Love multiple times before closing the door and locking it, having us in private.

"I couldn't remember anything, now I remember everything!" I kiss Fiyero all over his face. I feel something in my chest that was absent for the last day. My heart beating. It changes when I feel pure happiness.

"Elphie, your skin! It's not green!" Fiyero exclaims. He touches the left side of my face where it hit the wall, "You have a bruise! How?"

"A man. He struck me and I hit a wall," I say this as I look in the mirror. A large purple and blue discoloration covers almost half of my face, not reaching my nose but it covers my mouth. The wall I hit was made of painted brick.

"Who was this man?" Fiyero asks, ready to hurt someone.

"Don't worry about it. It's my fault, I deserved it. I was being mean and couldn't keep my temper," I sit next to him and brush my hands through his straw-like hair, "You came in here to tell me something, didn't you?"

"Oh! Yes, Theodora says dinner is ready and that you can come down when you're ready," he says. I smile and stand up.

"I'm ready! We'll catch up afterwards," I take my cloak off and set it on the bed taking the studded box with me, "Can you show me the way?" He shows me down the stairs we went up before and to the left into a huge dining room.

The green girl is sitting across from a plate set for me. I sit down and put the box on my lap. I can feel my hearts beating in sync, "You're not green anymore," Theodora states as she is looking down at her plate. We eat roasted pork with a drink of honey and barley water.

"I have a gift for you," I put the box on the table, "To thank you for your troubles," the shocked look on her face is kindness trying to pull through.

"You don't really need to give me anything," she says as I go to her side of the table. I open the box toward myself and take my heart out of it, "What is that?"

"Close your eyes," I say soothingly. Fiyero is at the door watching me cautiously. When Theodora's eyes are closed. I slowly put my heart into her body making sure I don't cause any pain. She passes out, falling back in her chair. I catch her and with Fiyero's help I carry her up to 'my' room. I put her on the bed and sit in front of the mirror.

My hair is a natural shade of brown and my skin has an even tan. My pinched features are smoothed out slightly. It's makes me miss Galinda.

"Something's bothering you. What is it?" Fiyero asks. I shrug at him.

"I wish Galinda could see me," I look at the mirror once more. If I could have the book of spells, I could make a window to the other world.

"She would have a heart attack the first glance at you. You are beautiful," Fiyero flatters me. I blush a deep red. the first time I've actually seen the color red on my face.

I look in the mirror and see something different. The reflection is not of this room. I'm in it but there is a bucket in the background not a bed, "Fiyero, I'm not in the reflection of this mirror anymore," My spell book is in the mirror along with.....Oh, Boq.
