As the party starts, Elphaba and Samuel watch people. Their hands are intertwined and they are leaning against each other. Even if that isn't Elphaba, she picked a great guy. He's very kind and gentle.

"Prince Samuel!" I hear someone yell from in the crowd. Slowly, I see a blonde woman emerge from the masses and make her way toward me. I don't think anything of it.

"Galinda! Where's Samuel? I need to speak with him." The guest states this in a tone that startles me. I stutter an incoherent response and she sighs, looking around.

She addresses me as if we've already been introduced but I've never seen this woman before in my life, though she is absolutely beautiful. Her blonde hair is done up quite nicely. I look over at Elphie to try to get her attention but her lips are locked with Samuel's. I see the woman's eyes widen and her face go red with anger.

Maybe it's green with disgust. But who can tell?

"Who do you think you are?" This unknown woman barges through the crowd to Sam and Elphaba, shoving them apart. She then looks Elphie over. "Y-You.....You're a liar...you did this to me...I'd rather be dead..." Glinda runs over to try to stop the fight that appears to be starting.

"What do you mean? Who are you....what's going on?" Elphie seems scared and confused. "Can someone please help me..." she looks at Glinda and me. Glinda gently grabs the woman's arm and the guest willingly leaves. I follow behind as we go outside. The woman is now crying and hugging Glinda.

"W-Why can't anything just go right?" She pulls away. "I-I'm done with having everything taken away from me...." her sadness has turned to anger, glaring at both of us. "I'm never going to be happy...ever..." she says all this so quickly and quietly that I don't process what she says. Her fingers start to turn green in front of our eyes.

"Elphie...I knew she tricked us..." I step closer and she looks at me with pain in her eyes. "We can fix this...I promise.." I try to calm Elphaba down as the green finally overtakes her.

"Another promise I assume you won't keep...." my best friend snaps this out and shakes her head. "I-I'm sure she'll be a better replacement anyway. She has everything I've always wanted...." Elphaba hugs her arms as she starts crying, letting out a scream of pain as her own tears burn the green skin. Glinda tries to use soothing words to calm our friend down but it doesn't work in the slightest. I want to help, but she obviously is extremely upset with me.

After a couple moments, Elphaba gets up—her tears completely gone and seeming enraged. "Have fun with your family..." she says gently to Glinda, whom then begs her to stay as Elphaba's broom flies down beside our green friend. She only glances at me before flying away. Not even a tick after, Glinda uses her magic and disappears into the air after her.

I wish she weren't so hardheaded; this could all be solved if she stayed calm and listened to us. But I know she's upset.

I make my way back into the ballroom and over to Evanora, "We have to leave." I grab her arm, pulling the woman away from Elphaba's friend. I take her all the way through the wizards chamber and to her room. "Stay here...for your safety..." I lock the door after glancing in the room. The Grimmerie is gone; I wouldn't imagine Elphaba leaving and not taking the spell book with her.

I keep looking around and notice Elphie's hat is gone, as well as her black dress. I sigh and sit in the living room, my head in my hands. After what seems like a couple hours, I hear someone else come in the room. I must've fallen asleep because it's daytime when I open my eyes again. I look behind me and see Glinda.

"Did you find..." I start my question and she only nods, holding a tray of food, I assume that she is taking to Evanora. "I'll be right back..." she takes the food to her and comes back down to me. "I'm not letting Evanora leave....but Elphaba is not in a good place right now..I'll bring her back...but please don't talk to her." Glinda meets my eyes only after she's done talking.

"Okay...I can do that. I just hope she'll be okay..."
