The woman picked up her pace as she walked through the enormous hallways. The red fabric of her velvet gown trailed behind her over the charcoal ground. Her footsteps on the marble floor echoed throughout the room.

This is bad. This is very, very bad.

She barged into the room at the other end of the hallway. The man to whom the room belonged to calmly sat in a desk with a cup in his hands.

His skin as pale as snow, his crimson red hair the color of blood contrasted against his pastel skin. His eyes were the color of the sky when the sun stands on it's horizon, dramatically marking the end of the day before it dives into the night.

"How hard can it be to knock?", he said, his voice dripping with annoyance.

"Someone set a siren on the loose. And it found her," the woman said trying to catch her breath. "Come to the headquarters. Now."

By the time he got up, she had already turned around. And so she didn't get to see the corner of his lips twitching upwards into a satisfied smirk.

"We must do something," the woman said as she watched the siren thrash the blonde girl against the wall on the large screen floating in front of them. "You," she said pointing at a nox, "get Bellatrix and Rigel. Tell them to get ready. We're sending them down there."

"No," the red haired man said holding his hand up.

"What do you mean no?," the woman said. Her eyebrows scrunched up in confused.

"We're not doing anything," he said.

Has he gone insane?

"We did not go through all this trouble so we can watch her die, just like that," she said as she tried to contain her anger.

"She's not going to die," the man said, his eyes fixated on the screen, on Hera. She stared at him silently for a few moments. Her eyes narrowed.

How could he be so calm about this?

Suddenly it hit her.

She realized why he couldn't sense the siren.

She knew how strong his abilities were. There was no way he could've just missed a creature that powerful roaming about the planet he had so carefully guarded for the past hundreds of years. Unless-

"You brought it here didn't you? You set the siren free and then lead it to her," the woman said, her voice sounded like cool sketch needles.

He was silent for a few moments.

"Yes," he finally said.

"No shit," she let out a dry, humorless laugh. "I didn't ask whether it was you or not. I was asking for an explanation," she said through her teeth. Her anger was slowly slipping out of control.

"Because she needed a push Aries," he tore his gaze off the screen and looked her in the eye which was now burning with rage. "This is the moment we've all been waiting for. Not for days or years. For centuries. So much has been sacrificed to build Hera into what she is now. This is the perfect opportunity for her to see what she really is.", his voice shook with emotion as he spoke.

"And all those sacrifices will be of no use of she dies now. Do you have any idea how powerful a siren is? It was decades before I could take down one of their kind. And she doesn't know the first thing about combat or magic or how to kill a fucking fly, let alone a full fledged demon", she clenched her fist, her patience running thin by the moment.

"I know patience has never been one of your virtues Aries but give it some time. She needs to be put in a situation where her powers are forced to come out of the dark," he said calmly.

Aries scoffed.  She clenched her fists till her palms hurt as she tried to contain herself from grabbing his neck and snapping it with her bare hands.

"She's brave," the man said as he watched Hera try to bend the monster's claw "she'll need it."

"She doesn't even have a weapon," the man turned around to see a boy with deep violet hair coming out of the shadows. How long had he been hiding there? "Bravery can't keep her alive now. It won't be long before the siren shoves it's claw down her pretty little throat and eats up her insides", the boy said.

"Shut up Sagittarius", Aries said, clearly annoyed at the humor in his voice. but before she could finish, the siren forced Hera's mouth open and pushed it's vine-like fingers into her.

"What'd I tell ya?", Sagittarius said.

"All right. That's enough," she said looking at the man who's calm demeanor was now gone, his forehead creased with worry.

How the hell was he able to survive for hundreds of eons with that pea sized brain? It's a miracle that his dumbness didn't get him killed by now. Aries turned around to the nox "I told you to get Rigel and Bellatrix . Why are you still standing here?," she nearly screamed at him.

The nox immediately ran out of the room.

"You need to open a portal to earth," Aries said to the man "and make it quick."

He sighed and stood in front of a mirror, raising his hands.

"And Sun?," Aries interrupted the red haired man just as he was about to assemble the energy needed to open the portal, "you're a special kind of an idiot."

Picture of Aries above. Title of this chapter are the traits of an Aries zodiac sign.

And now we know where Sun has been. God I can't wait to tell you what he's been upto for the past hundreds of years. I think I'm more excited than any of you to let you know about his plan *cough* my plan.
