You stared up at Asriel with a confused look in your (e/c) eyes, not understanding why he was refusing. He rolled his eyes, giving an answer in an annoyed tone. "Because I'm not the same stupid. They won't want me...

"Besides," He walked over to your side and gently pulled you into a hug. "I have you."

A blush made it's way to your cheeks as you turned your gaze away from his and crossed your arms, pulling out of his grip. "You can't just avoid them forever. Toriel's been getting super suspicious. She'll see you sooner or later."

"But not if I stay down here."

This had been an ongoing argument and debate back and forth for almost an hour. Asriel was, of course, being extremely stubborn about the idea and kept claiming that they'd want nothing to do with him after becoming a flower and doing a countless amount of evil-doings. When you brought up the fact that you had forgiven him long ago, Asriel would simply shrug off that important detail and smile at you before claiming you were different.

With a sigh and bringing up a hand to massage your aching temple, you turned to look into his eyes with your own. "You're being way to hard on yourself Flowey... every child needs a parent."

"Speak for yourself," Asriel said with an agitated sigh before focusing his gaze on yours once again. "What about you? Aren't your parents worried about you?"

A small, sad smile made its way onto your (pretty/handsome) features and gave a pained laugh before avoiding his gaze and instead focusing on a vase of yellow flowers that Alphys seemed to have a wide variety of. "I never met them...

"That's why," Your (e/c) eyes met Asriel's blue eyes who were widened in shock and disbelief. "I don't want you to waste this opportunity. You know, you're not there when Asgore or Toriel tell stories of you and Chara... the pain in their eyes is just... so haunted looking. They tell me how much they loved the both of you... how much they miss the both of you.

"Do you know they blame themselves? They'd do anything to see you and Chara again... and they now have the chance to do so..."

At this piece of information, pain started to cloud Asriel's bright orbs, making them now look like a stormy sea. Carefully, you stood from your bed and wrapped your arms around his torso, your face laying on his chest. His own arms wrapped around your middle, tightening the space around the both of you.

Now a comforting silence enveloped the two. Each were enjoying the comforting and warm embrace for several moments, the only sound being their calm breathing.

"Fine." He spoke with a shuddering breath. "I'll go see them."

You looked up at him, the hug being released while you gave him an ecstatic smile. "Really?!"

"On one condition though."

"Anything!"

Asriel gave a sly grin, making you regret saying you'd do 'anything' immediately after. "You're coming with me."
