A month has passed since both you and Asriel returned to Asgore and Toriel. Throughout those four weeks, you had noticed how Toriel and Asgore had been a bit more... hushed around you. Yet, when Asriel was around, they'd talk up a storm. This confused you greatly and you wanted to ask what was going on but at the same time, you were afraid of being a nuisance.
It made you start to think that perhaps they didn't really... want you anymore. Why would they want an adopted human child when they have their own biological child back. Your inner conscious would then fight with these dark thoughts; knowing better that your goat parents would never do that to you and it would cause you to feel guilty even thinking that way. However, you couldn't help it. You were terrified of being abandoned and forgotten. It's happened before so what says it won't happen again.
In fact, these dark thoughts were flashing through your mind as you blankly stared up at the ceiling, your eyes dulled as you were lost in the depths of your mind. Not even a series of loud knocking had shook you from your inner dilemma.
"Hey idiot, I need to talk to y-"
That's when Asriel's blue eyes traveled to see your form laying unmoving on your bed opposite of his own, your (e/c) eyes staring unblinking up above you. A pang of worry quickly shot in his chest as he slowly approached your bed, quietly shutting the door behind him.
"(Y/N)?"
Still no response arose from your lips as Asriel approached. Leaning over your laying form, he slowly and hesitantly lifted his hand before waving it back and forth in front of your face as a way to gain back your lost attention. However, his attempts were futile as you didn't even seem to see him. Now he was trying to keep his calm as he debated whether or not to attain the help of his parents, yet he didn't want to worry them unless absolutely necessary.
So he gently shook your shoulder and called out your name once again. A jolt of relief fell upon him as you finally looked at him with a curious expression.
"Hey Asriel. When'd you get here?"
He couldn't help but glare at you slightly, his Flowey side showing obvious annoyance and a hint of worry along with anger. "Doesn't matter. You were in deep thought there. What's going on in that stupid head of yours?"
Rolling your eyes at his question, you sat up before shrugging. "Nothing important. Just thinking is all."
As you were about to stand from the bed a sudden weight caused you to gasp, trying to regain the lost oxygen as you curiously looked up and a dark red blush then filled your face. Right above you was Asriel staring at you with a scowl reminding you immensely of Flowey as his hands clasped down on yours, trapping them from moving while he was straddling you making your heart pound at the suggestive position as well as the embarrassment of the situation.
With a feeble attempt of breaking from his grip, you spoke in a shaky tone. "Flowey, let me go!"
"Not until you tell me what the hell has been up with you for the past month. Don't think I haven't noticed how quiet you've been when you hardly know how to shut your mouth to begin with. Now," His face lowered down as his glare darkened, your noses almost touching and his voice was now a growl. "talk."
