As soon as we got in the house Nori grabbed my arm and pulled me to the living room. Work by Rihanna was on, so she wanted to dance, but not with any guys. She turned me around so that my back was to her. She started dancing on me and I moved my hips to the beat. We were getting into it until we realized that people were starting to stare. I looked back at her and we smirked at each other.

She grabbed my waist and pulled me closer and kissed my neck. I tried so hard not to laugh, because that would ruin everything. Now everyone was staring at us including this fine, tall, light skinned guy. We looked at each other and he bit his lip at me. I gave him a stank face and continued dancing. Once the song was over, Nori went to the kitchen to get a drink.

The guy took this as his opportunity to come over and spit game. I pretended like I didn't see him but he was hard to miss. 

"I know you see me standing here girl."

 He sounded so familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it. When I didn't say anything, he continued.

 "You look real good baby girl. Maybe we can get out of here and into my bed?" 

This boy is so bold. "No thanks I' good."

 He looked taken back and then said, "Oh so it's like that? I love it when females play hard to get." 

I looked and him weirdly and said, "Wait, did you just call me a female?" 

He rolled his eyes and said, "Not you too. I was on the phone with this girl today, and she got so upset when I called her a female. Yet she had the nerve to call me a nigga." 

My eyes widened as I realized why he sounded familiar.

 "You're the guy I was on the phone with earlier. You're damn right I called you a no good ass nigga. You would've wanted me to get rid of the baby." 

He squinted his eyes at me and said, "It wouldn't have happened if you hadn't called me. You really need a life, some friends, and a man since you're so bored that you called a complete stranger." 

We were going back and forth until Nori came up to us. "I see you two already know each other." 

The guy said, "Remember I told you this girl pranked me and said she was pregnant? Well it was your little friend here." 

 Nori looked at me and started laughing. "Ben it's ok, just chill." 

So his name is Ben?

Nori wondered off again leaving me and Ben to stare at each other angrily. Another song came on and cute brown skinned guy asked if I wanted to dance. I was about to say yes so that I could get away from Ben, but he answered for me. 

"No she's talking to me right now, so move along." 

The guy shook his head  and left. I let out a breath and walked away so that I could find Nori. 

"Purple minion come back here," a deep voice said. I was the only person with purple hair, so I knew he was talking to me.

 I turned around and glared at him while he smirked at me. 

"I didn't get your name."

 "My name is Star." 

Ben started laughing and shook his head. "Star's shine bright baby girl. You look like an asteroid to me." 

I glared at him and said, "I hope you catch something tonight." 

He smiled and said, "I hope to catch you." 

I rolled my eyes at his bi polarness. He just insulted me, then said he wanted me. What?

I walked away as soon as I saw Nori. "Can we leave because I'm ready to go home."

 Ben spoke up and said, "I could take you home." 

Nori nodded in agreement while I shook my head no. "I don't know him like that. I just met him today and he didn't make a good first impression."

 He gave me a stern look and said, "Don't start." For some reason I looked away and stopped talking.

 He put his hand on my back and led me out of the house and to his car. When we got to the house, he turned off the car and got out.

 "Where are you going?" I asked with my brow raised.

 "I'm going in the house," he said as if I should have known that. 

"No you're not."

 He bit his lip and said, "You'll see."

 I ran to the front door and unlocked it, but by the time I opened it, Ben was pushing me inside. 

"Oh so you like to play games huh? I can already tell that we're gonna be the best of  friends." 

Friends? He's tripping. "I looked him in the eyes and said, "We'll never be friends."
