Chapter 8

Percy laughed again as the ride took off, for real this time. He and Annabeth had been cracking jokes and laughing with each other the whole time.

"Have you heard about that guy who got his entire left side cut off? He's all right now!"

The two had laughed themselves into a tizzy and the people around them were beginning to get annoyed, Percy could tell.

However, soon a (really fake) Australian voice began to narrate and Percy and Annabeth kept their jokes to whispers between them, with giggles here and there.

By the time the ride finished, the two adults had gotten to know each other much more personally and had already formed nicknames.

"Hey, Wise Girl, why don't we just all eat at the Galactic Grill," Percy suggested, checking his watch,"It's almost 5:30 and we still haven't eaten. Plus its right here."

Annabeth agreed and the group headed to eat- none noticing Holly slip off, the group thinking her going to the bathroom.

However, soon after the group had gotten their meals, Annabeth ordering for Holly, Holly returned with a bag in tow.

"Casey, can you stand up please?"

Casey stood, looking nervous about what Holly was going to say. Percy smiled at Casey, telling her that this was okay and she need not fear Holly's words. After all, he had a feeling of what Holly was about to ask.

"I know we just met a couple days ago, but you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen, with a stunning personality to match. We both like the same things, however my blunt openness and your blushing shyness make us the perfect opposites."

Holly pulled out the jacket Casey had been looking at earlier from behind her back. Casey began to blush even harder.

"Casey, will you do me the honor of going on a date with me?"

Casey let out a small, squeaky "Yes!" and Holly ran to hug her and give her the jacket. John had videotapes it on his phone, being in on his friend's plan and Percy and Annabeth fawned over how cute that was together.

A/N- Hey everyone! Hope this little update have you some major Percabth and Hasey feels, cause it sure gave me some. Like I said before, this story is definitely gaining speed and I can see a sequel maybe coming in the future. Plots twists are a ways away, we need to get their relationships established first. You don't really need to worry about Hasey much, but definite Percabeth feels arriving soon.

Also, I don't share much of myself on here, but I do want to tell you something about myself that I have just began to feel open being. This is me, and any hate or rudeness directed towards this will be deleted, blocked, and reported. (Not necessarily in that order)

I'm bisexual.

That means I like both boys and girls. I have recently found that I am more comfortable with this, being myself, and found that it would be rude to keep such a thing from my readers.

So, sorry for making the author's note so long, but I needed to clear the air. I have hinted at it but never *came out* and said it, so there it is.
