Percy stood on the porch, still in shock over what he had just discovered. He didn't know how to handle this information, what to do with it, how to even process it. His mind was in overdrive and he was actually kinda scared. What will happen now?

"Ummm... Would you like to come in?" Annabeth said.
Percy stuttered out a yes and walked through the door. Holly was standing in the corner, looking embarrassed. She couldn't even meet his eyes. Annabeth ushered them further into the living room, and Percy kind of fell onto the couch. He still couldn't wrap his head around what he had just heard.
"So... I guess you want me to explain, huh?" Annabeth said meekly.
Percy let out a sarcastic laugh."Yeah, that'd be nice."
Percy felt no sympathy for this... this liar.
"Well, I've been best friends with Holly ever since she as born. Its true, we are cousins. However, my parents died when I very young- when I was 10. I got adopted into a nice family and all, but it just wasn't the same. The only thing that kept me going the whole time was Holly. I love her to death. So when her parents died, she moved in with my adopted family and the minute I turned eighteen, I got custody of her and moved us into this house. Is that good enough for you?"
Percy was speechless. He almost couldn't believe the story he'd been told. But, just from witnessing these two the past few days and the way they interact, it was hard not to believe it. These two depend on each other for everything, and it showed. They truly did have a special relationship.
Percy exhaled. "Alright, I believe you. But, I'm still mad, and I have one condition in order for you to be allowed to date my sister or to even hang out with us. You must tell Casey the whole story the next time you see her. Which will be a little while away. We need some time together before this whole thing blows up once you tell her."
Annabeth and Holly looked at each other and had a conversation with their eyes. Percy was lost, but they seemed to have understood each other well enough.
"Okay..." Holly responded,"But I need to tell her alone."
Percy just glanced once at each of the cousins, gave a small nod, then rose and walked out if the door.

Percy couldn't contain his thoughts on the way home. He really did like Annabeth, and Holly. Holly was good to his sister, she treated her right, respected her boundaries, and always texted her goodnight. Holly was a cute girl, innocent and almost had naïve air about her. Yet, she was also devious. And she lied. Percy couldn't stand liars.
But what about Annabeth? He liked her- a lot. She was beautiful, funny, smart, and a great person. A great cousin. Someone he could see himself lasting with. But, she lied.
Percy was conflicted and he didn't really know what to do. But, he knows he'll have it figured out soon enough, after all, he needs to be the sane one when it all goes to hell after they tell Casey.
Poor, innocent Casey. She'll be destroyed hearing the news. What was he gonna do?

A/N- This update is waaayyyy over due, I'm so sorry. I have the next few chapters planned out. We'll see some Percy and Casey alone time, and then there might be one from Casey's POV. And its basically all gonna go to shit after the next chapter. But, Percabeth is coming. Next chapter will be longer too.
I just wanted to thank you guys for supporting my writing so much. It's crazy that people like my writing so much that they vote for it and comment on it. Almost 7,000 reads we've got on this story, and almost 60,000 on Seaside Coffee. Thank you so much!
Also just a hint, if you haven't listened to Hamilton yet, what are you doing with you're life? I've slowly become Hamiltrash, so you should too.
Anyway, that's it for today!
Bye, my little fanpeoples!
