Chapter 5

The next day, Percy awoke feeling refreshed and excited about this new day at Disneyland. He headed downstairs and found a note from his mom saying that she had to leave early for work and to make some breakfast for himself and his sister. Percy decided on Mickey Mouse pancakes for just a little bit of cheesiness.

He turned on some Sleeping With Sirens and sang along quietly to himself. Casey soon found her way downstairs and Percy smiled as he saw her.

"Hey, lil sis. Ready for another day at Disneyland with Holly and John?"

Casey blushed, but quickly replied back.

"Well you're going to see you princess. Maybe you can finally act like a prince for once in your life. You know, kind, sincere, generous."

"Hey, I can just as easily eat all these pancakes as I made them."

The siblings smiled and ate the rest of their large breakfast.

The sun beat down on Percy as he and Casey made their way to the Partners Statue, where they would be meeting Holly and John. Casey was rambling on animatedly about some book she was reading, The Kane Chronicles, he thinks it was called. However, he really wasn't paying attention, more focused on finding their friends.

"Casey! Percy! Casey!"

Percy looked around and finally spotted the two on the Fantasyland side of the statue. He quickened their pace and they soon met up with the their personable new friends.

"Hey guys, we were thinking we could head over to Pirates and then maybe Nemo, then head over to see Annabeth."

Percy nodded in agreement and the friends began to walk over to Pirates. Casey wanted to stop and look in the shop in front of Jungle Cruise. She browsed around the store and quickly found a jacket she liked. She put it on and modeled it for everyone, striking funny poses while Holly kept a continuous line of compliments rolling. Percy glanced at the one thing Casey failed to notice and gasped a little.

"Hey Casey, can I talk to you over here for a moment?"

Percy and Casey retreated to a spot where Holly and John wouldn't be able to hear them and Percy began to talk.

"You know mom does her best for us, but she can't provide everything we could ever want. Case, that jacket is $85. $85!"

Casey gave a little gasp and quickly looked down ashamed, realizing her mistake. Percy gave a sympathetic nod and the two walked back to their friends.

Little did they know, Holly had her their conversation and was prepared to give the girl she liked everything she could.

Percy watched Casey reluctantly put the jacket back on display before they headed to the ride. Holly had said she needed to use the bathroom so she went the opposite way as them. The sun was hidden behind the clouds as the three stood in line, John and Casey talking animatedly about the ride, trading facts and stories. Percy was content to go on his phone, and he may or may not have been trying to find the Annabeth girl on every social media he had.

"Hey, Perce, watcha looking at?"

Percy nearly dropped his phone and quickly exited out of Instagram when he heard Holly's loud voice over his shoulder. He looked down at the bag in her hand and she promptly shoved it behind her back and continued to talk to him about something or other, but he wasn't paying attention. He wanted to know what was in the bag and took every moment he could to try and look inside.

The four friends came off Pirates feeling refreshed and happy to be at Disneyland. Suddenly, Percy felt something crinkle in his pocket and he pulled it out. It was the ticket to see Annabeth! He checked the time. The ticket was good from 12:00 to 1:30. It was 1:15.

Shit.

He shouted something almost discernible to the three 15 year olds and took off in a sprint, racing towards the castle.

A/N- It's really cool seeing a lot of you come over from Seaside Coffee and I hope you enjoyed that one. This book is really starting to take off and we should be seeing some Percabeth action soon. Also, I would love it if you guys could come up with a ship name for Holly and Casey. 1k is coming up for this story and I have a surprise that I think some of you will rather enjoy. This story will also have a more significant plot and character development and shit, so expect it to be a little more well developed than Seaside Coffee.
