Percy arrived home and immediately grabbed the keys to his car.

"Pack a bag with a swimsuit, a change of clothes, and sunscreen. We're leaving."

Casey immediately hopped up from her position on the couch and raced to her room. She hasn't seen Percy this tensed since his 8th grade formal. Now that was hilarious. But this, this was a different kind of tense.

She grabbed all the stuff she needed and then headed out the door, waiting in the living room with her bag packed. She saw Percy walk out of his room and into the kitchen, wearing trunks and a t-shirt. He came out a little while later, holding a small backpack loaded with what seemed to be snacks and towels. The two then headed to their car, and got in. Percy immediately put his music on, Death of a Bachelor streaming through the speakers. Casey was content with this for a while, until she noticed Percy's solemn attitude. Whenever he listens to music, it always made him happy, not sad.

Casey then turned down the volume, turning towards Percy to make some light conversation.

"Want to get some lunch before we go to the beach?" She asked.

Percy nodded and made a small noise of approval.

"What about In-n-Out?"

Percy immediately winced at this suggestion, and turned the music back up. He refused to even think about Annabeth, and how she plain lied straight to his face. And Holly too- his sister's first ever girlfriend. Casey doesn't even know, and Percy plans to keep it that way until he's ready to tell.

"No, how about we get sandwiches today? They're easier to eat at the beach. How about from that little shop on the corner up ahead?"

Casey looked at where Percy was pointing and smiled.

"Sounds like a plan!"

Percy slowly felt himself loosen up a bit as he and Casey rocked out like dorks in their car. They just got some plain submarines and some chips from the store, nothing to much. Percy always kept some water bottles in his car, anyway. They finally arrived at the beach and Percy felt himself go. He was here to forget about Annabeth, and have some quality time with his little sister, who he has gotten a lot closer with over the course of the past few weeks.

The two hopped out of the car, and Casey grabbed the sandwiches while Percy grabbed their stuff. They headed out onto the sand, and Percy plopped down their bags. He pulled out their towels and laid them down, and then he sat there waiting while Casey went to go change. After she came back, he just pulled of his shirt- having already put on his trunks- and they sat on the towels, ready to dig in to their meal.

"Alright, this looks pretty good, huh?" Percy asked.

Casey laughed, and answered by taking a huge bite, moaning over-dramatically at the taste. Percy just swatted her shoulder and took a bite of his own, wanting to moan like Casey at the feeling of all the flavors in his mouth. Sandwiches were the best!

The siblings sat for a little while more, their intense eating concentration broken only by little bits of conversation here and there. After a time, Percy had finished his sandwich and was halfway done with his chips. Seeing this, Casey shoved the rest of her sandwich in her mouth and shot up.

"Lez gofm!" she mumbled through her mouth full of food.

Percy just chuckled and he stood up, shoving the half-eaten bag of chips into their beach bag. They ran down to the water, Casey practically choking on her sandwich, with Percy dying of laughter. They splashed around a bit, and eventually waded out to the deeper water. They swam underneath the waves and felt the sun beat down on their backs. Percy felt more at ease, letting the pure bliss of this moment take away all of the worry of the past. He laughed and splashed and swam with Casey, enjoying her company.

Eventually, they headed back up to their towels and relaxed on the beach. Percy put his sunglasses on, and laid down on his towel, acting as if he didn't have a care in the world. Suddenly, he felt a huge thing land on his stomach and he let out an, Oomph! Casey squealed and rolled around over him, laughing as she squished him into the sand. He pushed her off.

"Case, you know you're not supposed to do that," he scolded.

Then, he started to fake-cry and rubbed his stomach.

"That hurt a lot!" he sniffed.

Casey suddenly got worried and ran over to him, hugging onto him and patting his back. Then, Percy pushed her over onto the sand and started tickling her, laughing as she squirmed and screamed below him.

The two continued to play around at the beach until it started to get dark. Then, they packed up their stuff and hopped in the car. Casey plugged her phone in and started to play like you lots by LANY. They drove home listening to the soft music as they watched the sunset behind them. Percy smiled down at his sister, loving how much closer they'd gotten this summer. Today had been a good day, and had gotten his mind off of the stuff that had gone down with Annabeth and Holly. They finally made it home, and Percy carried a sleeping Casey into her bed, and then plopped down in his and promptly fell asleep. He'll deal with Annabeth tomorrow.

A/N- Omg, I'm soooo sorry for not updating sooner, it's just that I've been super busy and haven't had much motivation to write. I hope you enjoyed this sibling fluff chapter. Hopefully, I'll update soon, but honestly don't count on it. School has me wrecked and drama and volleyball aren't helping.

Anyways,

Bye, my little fanpeoples!
