The next morning, Percy awoke to a crick in his neck and his little sister practically hanging off of his body in a koala-like hug. They had stayed the night at Annabeth's, just to reaffirm the sentiments they had all shared last night, and Annabeth had offered for them to sleep on the couch bed in the living room. They said yes- although Percy is now regretting it, seeing as Casey is almost killing him by cutting of his circulation so much.

Percy pushed her off and then heaved himself off the couch bed, flicking his black hair out of his eyes and then resting his gaze on his phone on the side table. He picked it up. Damn. 28 missed phone calls from Mom. He immediately called her, but got her voicemail, and left a message saying that they were alright and they were staying at his girlfriend's house.

Percy didn't mean to say girlfriend in the message. It just, sort of, came out. He guessed that because of how strongly he felt for Annabeth, the word just fitted them. They had never really put a label on their relationship, not yet, but Percy was eager to. He decided that he would take Annabeth on a date soon, and ask her then, all nice and formal.

Casey woke up soon after Percy, and then came Annabeth, and finally, Holly. Holly wasn't the best morning person, seeing as she didn't even get up in the morning, but rather around 12:30, after they'd all had breakfast and played a couple rounds of Mario Kart already.

Percy laughed as soon as he took a look at Holly's bed head. Her usually wavy brown hair was in complete curls that scrunched up around her head and made her look like she was sporting an inconvenient afro. All she did was push past him, mutter a few curse words, and then grab the coffeemaker.

"What a catch, Casey!" Percy yelled to his little sister. "You're girlfriend is quite the charmer!"

Casey just called him an asshole and went back to playing (i.e. beating) Annabeth at Mario Kart.

After making fun of Holly a little more and receiving a couple of death threats from her, Percy went to go sit down on the couch behind where Casey and Annabeth were sitting on the floor. He grabbed the third controller and joined their game as soon as Casey started a new one. He went with his favorite pick, Baby Peach, and picked the Baby Booster as his race car.

"Aw, wittle Percy is using the baby, ah ha," Casey taunted him.

"Oh, just wait until I kick your butt, Jackson," he replied.

"I don't think so, Jackson. Try me, old man."

That set Percy off and he used every inch of skill and luck he had in his body to win first in every round. Eventually, he won first place overall.

"Hah, suck it, Case! I win," Percy laughed, dancing around the room.

Suddenly, Annabeth was standing too, and she asked him if she could join his dance. All he did was laugh and nod. She smiled and immediately pulled out the cringiest dance moves that Percy had ever seen.

While Annabeth might be slick in real life, Percy thought, she's as rough as sandpaper when dancing.

Still, though he danced around the room with her, enjoying their playful and carefree time together.

A/N- Hey guys, sorry it's been such a long time. I've been really piled on with schoolwork and such and my life has just peaked in busy-ness. I have school, my family, piano, art, everything. I will try to be more on top of this, but I can't promise anything. Also, I started a YouTube Channel and would really appreciate if you could go check it out! It's called "It's Not Jello Yet".

Once again, I'm really sorry that I'm not updating frequently and that this chapter was so short. Please bear with me and continue to read this story!

Bye, my little fanpeoples!
