Serena's pov.

I woke up with a pounding in my head, I felt like I was about to explode. Seconds later all the events from last night came rushing back to me.

My eyes widened as I remembered I had that job interview at 10. I looked at the clock and saw 9. I sighed in relief and lazily got off the bed. I trudged my way to the bathroom and took two pills to calm this storm of a headache.

I headed to the kitchen and gobbled down a ham sandwich. I looked around and noticed Marina wasn't awake yet. Typical. She would probably wake up the time I get back home.

I laughed to myself as I entered my bathroom. The hot water ran along my skin, awakening me even more.

I pulled out a black pencil skirt and a white blouse and quickly slipped it on. I paired that with my black heels and straightened my hair.

It was half 9 by the time I finished and I grabbed my purse and headed out. I waited outside my place for the bus since I didn't have as yet.

As I exited the bus I looked up at the building in front of me. My eyes widened at the beauty of it.

It was at least 100 stories high and at the very top was the words 'Fenica Companies'

I put on my straight face and headed into the building.

"How may I help you today?" As a lady who was behind the main desk. She looked like she was in her mid-fifties.

"I have an interview today."

"Yes, well you wouldn't be meeting Mr. Fenica today. He hasn't come in all day. His right-hand man would be interviewing you, and if you get the job you will meet him." She explained to me. I just nodded and asked her where to go.

"Go to the top floor in conference room one, if you cannot find your way, there are people who will be there to assist you"

"Thank you, have a nice day," I said and began to walk off.

I walked into the elevator and clicked 75. It was a very long ride up. I saw people walk in and out of the elevators, stopping on almost every floor.

'Ding' Finally we reached my floor.

I stepped out the elevator and looked around for a bit. I was stunned for a moment. The entire top floor was amazing. It looked like a room from the movies.

I walked around a bit until I spotted a door that wrote, 'Conference room 1'

As I walked to it, I wondered how many more conference rooms are there. Probably hundreds.

I knocked on the door and heard a faint, 'come in'

I cautiously opened the door and stepped in.

"Hello, you are Miss DeGellari right?" , The mystery man said.

"Yes, and you are?"

"Xavier, a very good friend of the boss and I will be interviewing you today, please have a seat," he said and pointed to the chair next to him.

He asked me all the usual questions you would get in an interview.

30 minutes later we were finally done. He said if I got the job, I would get a call sometime tomorrow.

I smiled as I walked out the room thinking 'i got this'

I walked out of the building, but not before saying goodbye to the lady at the front desk.

She smiled back at me as I walked out. I quickly hopped on the bus and headed to the closest McDonald's.

For the rest of the day, I just lazed around. I still couldn't get Alessio out of my head. The entire day I was thinking about him. I went to bed later that night with two thoughts on my mind.

One was Alessio and the other was about the job interview.

I really do need this job since I was on the run for some time and that takes a huge toll on your bank account. I just hope I would get it.
