XXIV

Serena's pov.

Today was the day I was going to Hawaii with Alessio and Xavier. Well, night actually. It was Friday evening at 10:34 pm to be exact and we were boarding the plane, 'first class of course' as Alessio said.

'We could have used my jet, but it went for repairs' as I remember him saying.

Of course, he would have a jet, how stupid of me to think he didn't have one.

I sat next to him and he generously let me have the window seat which made me smile like a fool in front of him.

For most of the plane ride, I was looking out the window at the beautiful view.

I looked at the clouds, which looked like poof balls of cotton.

The view was absolutely beautiful.

I looked over to Alessio and he was staring right at me which caught me by surprise. I squealed a little bit which caused him to chuckle.

"Why are you looking at me for?" I asked.

"What? Can I not look at you" He said, a small smirk lingering on his lips.

"N-NO Its just that you scared me a little bit" which made Xavier laugh at me and throw a napkin ball at me.

For the rest of the flight, I had to endure his stupid pick up lines, lame jokes and snarky comments.

After a little while, he got a little more tolerable, which was good news for me.

×After the flight×

I stepped out of the plane an onto the tarmac to witness the most spectacular view.

It was all that I had pictured Hawaii to look like.

"Stop drooling," Alessio said, snapping me out of my thought.

I looked at him with wide eyes before self consciously wiping the sides of my mouth.

He looked at me and began laughing like a mad man, while I just stood and stared at him like a deer caught in headlights.

"You are so self-conscious, there is no drool, come on, let's get to the hotel." He said and grabbed my hand, pulling me along.

I quickly followed him and made sure I didn't get lost, cause if I did, I probably wouldn't be able to find him back.

After a short 10 minute drive,  we arrived at the hotel, which might I say, was magnificent. If it looked like this on the outside, I can't imagine how the inside of it would look. The hotel looked so Caribbean.

Not like any hotel that can be found in the states. We entered the lobby and might I say, it looked similar to the Tipton, from the show 'The suite life of Zack and Cody'

I instantly smiled as I remembered that show, one of my childhood favorites.

"What are you smiling at?"

"Nothing, I am just remembering one of my childhood shows, The suite life of Zack and Cody"

"Oh yesss, I loved that show, who was your favorite character, mines was London"

He said which made me roll my eyes and mutter typical under my breath.

" Esteban Julio Ricardo Montoya de la Rosa Ramírez. He was my favorite" I stated which made Alessio turn to look at me in surprise.

"You know his whole name?"

"Yeaaa, who doesn't"

"Everyone"

"Except me"

"Except you Serena, except you," He said and smiled as he began walking into the elevator. Xavier hadn't said a word since we exited the plane and every time I looked at him he always had this creepy smile on his face. 

We exited the elevator and made our way to our rooms, which was thankfully on the same floor since I knew for sure I would have gotten lost without them.

I opened my room door and immediately I fell in love with the place. The curtains by the windows were open and I straight to the ocean which was not far away. The room was a pastel color that looked magnificent in the sunlight. I immediately dropped my bags and made my way to the balcony. As I opened the glass door I was greeted by the sea breeze which whipped my hair into my face making me smile.

The flight took us approximately 7 hours which makes it now about sunrise and the sunrise here was beautiful. The sky was adorned with yellow and orange hues which some pinkish patches and I sat there in awe taking in the sight. I sat there for a half an hour just looking at the sky without a care in the world until I realized my eyes were drooping and I was in desperate need of sleep even though I got some sleep on the plane here. 

I walked back into the room and quickly changes into my pajamas without showering and dived under the covers. Seconds later I was engulfed with darkness.
