My Love

Serena's pov.

It has now been five months since Al and I have been dating and if I must say, it was the best five months of my life.

He treated me like a princess and I loved it. I LOVED HIM.

We hadn't said those words to each other as yet, but we have a date tonight and I think it's about time I do.

In the five months that passes I still work for Al as his secretary, I moved out of my place and moved in with him.

Marina and I still talk a lot, and by a lot I mean a lot. She makes sure to call me everyday and sometimes she even shows up at me door at weird times in the night.

Right now I was at home getting ready for our date but I just felt as if something wasn't right and something wrong was going to happen tonight.

Al decided he wanted to send me home early because he knew I was going to take forever to get ready.

And he was right.

It was now 6 pm and I was putting the finishing touches on my makeup.

Alessio now arrived home and when he walked in the bedroom he looked at me and dropped his phone.

"Oh my...." He said and walked up to me, completely forgetting his phone on the floor.

"You look breath taking" he said as he pulled me in for a kiss.

I kissed him back with the same amount of passion he kissed me.

He pulled away from me and quickly made his way into the shower.

"Atleast I don't take an entire year to get ready" Al said before he closed the door.

I scoffed at his accusation, but I knew he was right.

What can I say. It takes a lot of time to look this pretty.

I sat down for a maximum of 10 minutes and when I looked up I saw that Al was already finished.

It amazes me how he can take 10 minutes to get ready and still look like a god.

I smiled as he helped me up.

"You look mighty fine" I whispered in his ear.

He smirked at me as we walked out the door.

We arrived at the restaurant and boy it was beautiful.

I have never eaten in a place this classy. I mean Al had taken me out in restaurant but none could compare to this.

Imagine how the food would taste here.

We walked inside and was greated by the waiter who showed us to out table.

Apparently Al requested a secluded booth, so right now we are in the corner of the restaurant where no one could see us.

"I can't keep my eyes off of you" Al said as we sat down in the booth.

"Then don't" I said and smiled at him.

The food here was really good, and by really good I mean really good.

Mouth watering

After we finished our meals I was stuffed, I even made Al order us extra dessert so we can eat it later when we get home.

Right now we were talking and laughing. The smile couldn't leave mt face.

"Al?"

"Hmm" he said.

"I love you" I finally said.

I heard his breath hitch and he just stared at me.

At that moment I felt I made a mistake, mabye it was too soon.

I was about to speak when he interrupted me.

"I love you too. I was going to tell you I love you after I gave you this." he said and placed a box in front of me.

I slowly grabbed the box and opened it.

I gasped at the sight in front of me.

It was a ring. A beautiful diamond ring.

"Don't get worried I am not proposing, well not yet. This is a promise ring. One day I will replace this with an actual wedding ring. I promise to love you and cherish you, only if you allow me too." He said and by that time, my eyes were watering.

I looked at him, and saw he was smiling at me. I returned the smile and nodded at him.

He took the box from my hand and placed the ring on my finger.

"I love you" I said through me sobs.

He looked at me and pulled me closer to him in the booth whispering I love you in my ear.

At this moment I couldn't be happier. I looked at the man I loved and saw he was looking at me with love in his eyes.

When I was younger I always wanted someone like him, and I finally got him and I really do hope he keeps his promise and stays with me.

As we broke away from each other and I was grinning ear to ear but suddenly that all changes. My world was turned upside down in the blink of an eye.

"He has a gun" I heard someone scream and before I knew it I heard gunshots and a a pain in my upper stomach. After that every thing went numb and my ears began to ring. The last thing I saw was Al getting up and my world went completely black.
