Alessio's pov

During the ride there, i would keep sneaking glances at her. I couldn't get over how beautiful she looked tonight. She looks beautiful everyday but when she was dress up like this, it was....WOW

Everytime she catches me looking she would blush which would make me smile in return

"What are you doing?"  She asked with a small smile.

"Nothing, can i not watch a beautiful girl?" I questioned, smirking. Knowing she would blush.

I placed my hand in hers and laced our fingers together giving her hand a small squeeze.

Minites later we arrived and the second i looked at serena her entire face changed. She looked like when a kid sees something cool for the first time. I gave her some time to take in the beauty of the place then i linked our two hands together and we walked inside.

Her eyes lit up when she saw the chandeliers. Like a kid on christmas, i couldn't help but smile.

I had to snap my fingers in front of her to pull her out of her thoughts.

"You daydream alot you know" i said with a slight chuckle.

I laced our hands together and i negan walking to the table where i spotted my friends. I was sure the girls were going to love serena.

"Heyyyy mannn" i said and we did the bro hug.

"How have you been? And who is this pretty lady you have here?" He said looking at serena.

It angered me a little when he said that and she blushed. She is mine!!!.
No. She will be mine.

"This is Serena. She's my assistant."

"Well you are one lucky man, by the way my name is James." he said winking at her which made me clench my fist.

I know James is my friend but if he touches her i will hurt him.

"Well these are my friends" i said leading her to a table with 2 women and 2 men, "Guys meet Alessio date, Serena. This is Ginger"

"And this is Felicity"

"This is grant and this is jack"
She said her hello's to them and she took a seat next to them.

Minutes later all the guys excused ourselves to go and play a game of all-fours. It was tradition. Everytime we meet up we would play.

We walked down to one of the empty rooms and fixed the chairs. I grabbed the pack of cards from James' hand and began to shuffle.

Me and James are always partners whenever we play this game, and we bet on everything.

"Bet 50 bucks that Alessio kicks 6" James said and pulled a 50 out placing it on the table.

I dealt the cards and anxiously flipped the card. James groaned when he saw a 3 kick. Grant smirked and took the money from him making me chuckle.

Three rounds, 1 kick and one hang jack later we won the game, as usual.

"We always win" i said giving james a high five.

"We should go back out to the girls, we know you want to see serena" Grant said making kissy faces towards me.

I glared at grant and pushed him out the door. He tripped and toppled over onto the floor.

"Hahahahahahah, it good for you" i said and began to walk back. As i was walking back to the table i saw serena with blood on her, her hair messy and a cut. My eyes widened and i ran up to her.

"What happened to you?" I demanded, my hand wiping away some of the blood from her cheek.

"Some guy was really drunk a-and he tried to rape me but i fought him and ran out." She said, stuttering a little bit.

My eyes darkened, and anger surged through me. I quickly asked her for the room she came and hugged her whispering.

"I will be right back, stay with james until i get back ok"

I walked into the room and i saw the little fuxker who touched her lying on the bed. I walked up to him and i held him by his shirt and punched him as hard as i could. I kept punching him until all the anger was out. His face was bleeding heavily but at that moment i really didn't care.

I walked out of the room and made my way back to serena. I saw her with the girls. They were trying to clean up the cut. My eyes softened and when i approached them i said.

"guys i think were leaving"

Serena nodded and said her goodbye to the girls and the guys and she followed me outside.

As soon as we entered the car serena turned to me and asked, "What did you do to him?"

"I thought him a lesson for messing with you" i said, my hands gripping the steering wheel very tightly. I almost said my girl instead of you. I would have been really embarrassed of i did.

I began to drive and i was still mad as hell but when she put her hands on mine i relaxed immediately.

"I am sorry this happened to you" i  said rubbing her hand, soothingly.

"It's not your fault, and I'm ok so you have nothing to worry about" she  stated and gave me a small smile.

"I just don't want you to get hurt, and if i was there i could have stopped him"

"But you weren't and that's ok, it's in the past now" she assured me and i nodded.

The rest of the drive was silent, i still kept on sneaking glances at her.

When we arrived at her apartment, i leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek and still said how sorry i was.

She said once again that it wasn't my fault and i just nodded

She hopped out the car and and she smiled at me.

"Goodnight Alessio"

"Goodnight Serena" i said and drove of when she entered the door.

Tonight could have gone way better, i thought as i was driving home.
